I’ll be shocked if Denver doesn’t make a trade, such as starting to clear cap room to resign PW & Spence. Likely targets would be Zeke & Hunter, which saves you 10 mil right there. Maybe more likely is Straw instead of Hunter. AAR they should strike quickly to get off of zeke’s contract.
PWat must be resigned at all costs. Ownership is stuck now, they have to. Imagine the public perception. Imagine having to explain to Jokic “sorry big guy, we can’t keep young, talented stars around you lolz”. If they did that, I wouldn’t resign an extension if I were him.

If they do decide to trade Watson, I’d hope it would be for a proven borderline starter on a long-term contract. Something like Watson + Nnaji for Royce O’Neale and maybe some draft compensation. Ideally I’d like if they could keep all their core guys tho

I WAS mad about CB contract. He didnt deserve it with his 3p shooting %. 15M per season would be apropriate.
Keep the depth for a run, we've never been this deep with Jokic before and I don't want a repeat of last year when MPJs shoulder led to AGs hamstring because he was trying to make up for Mike.
Can't sign Peyton to anything until the offseason, and he's restricted so he can't just sign on day 1 of free agency with anyone. Trade Cam this summer when he has a championship ring and we'll get an extra 2nd round pick in the deal, and we like our 2nd rounders if Pickett and Jokic are any sign.
PO rotation = Jokic, Murray, AG, Cam, PWat, bench THJ, Spencer + mix of players useful for any given series (CB+Pickett+BB+Val+Zeke?). Let's face it, PWat is better with Jokic than CB, he's better defender, same cutter and he can hit open 3, CB shoots 10% on 3s, he's in his head, and people just leave him WIDEEEEEEEEE OPEN. The sad part is that CB is also not very useful without Jokic, which makes him 7-10th player in the rotation. ALSO STOP putting anybody before Cam, until he shows that his MPJ hands and MPJ clumsiness wasn't just early season jitters, he's perfect fit for the line up, guess why Jokic is having the best season of his life? People around him actually understand basketball, Cam is big part of that.
Love eric but he’s been wrong multiple times on this eppy… pickett IS doing booty ball and it’s working. That’s how he gets his separation and protects the ball. As long as he’s under control and doesn’t do a jump pass, the booty ball is workin. Pickett has earned the backup spot. Plus in the playoffs we maybe dont need a backup pg anyway – pwat and ag can handle the rock. Long live booty ball! 49:16
This is why we need 2nd seed and smwth easy 1st round, that's how you win championships, 4-1 first round whilst figuring out who is who.
Nuggets basketball doesn't work like that "go get bucket" nobody is taking up the ball and going 1v1 on mismatch except AG on smaller guys when he can get to the hoop or ez FTA, Jokic and Murray. Honestly I'm comfortable only with AG and Jokic because only those two can create 130 ORTG when in isos. The responsibility for the rest of the group is attack the advantage smbdy creates for you. Either hit the open 3 at least with 50% of the time =150 ORTG, or attack for a lay up, around 140 ORTG or get to the FT line around 160 ORTG. Best iso guys hit jumps shots around 50%…that's 100 ORTG, that's huge problem.
I think if they trade anyone it should be Nanji and Johnson
I don't think its hard to figure out on the officiating, Ray Acosta has always been that guy for us
