Miles was WIDE open for pretty much all his threes. This defense is a hard watch every game.
The real problem for the lakers is Ayton & Bench Consistency.. Ayton is useless he kills the team and lakers bench is not good..
Is there a way they can get Lauri from Utah? I know he takes up like 30 sum % of their salary cap tho
They are too slow footed to get up on shooters. They all get blown by with ease. Just a fact. They need a rim protector.

You get rid of the problems by getting rid of the brass and a complete overhaul of the team. The culture, dynamic, identity and heart has to change. Players need to be shown the door if they can’t play physically, don’t play for the entirety of their time on the floor, don’t play/care about defense, can’t learn offensive and defensive schemes, can’t shoot and get injured too often. Also, if they complain about not getting calls and then not running back on defense.
LeFraud is the biggest problem but as LeBum fanboys, we just have to blame someone else 😂

I think the Lakers should trade AR before we have to pay him more than he is worth given his defense isn't that good. There are others that need to go so we can revise our lineup with athletes that can defend.
It’s gonna be tough even when Reeves comes back…Him,Luka,and Lebron is too much of a defensive liability on the floor at the same time,whoever the other 2 starters would have to be Stout on the defensive end and Reliable shooters🤷🏽♀️
Great show. You cannot week after week blame losses on “effort” when this team has the worst bench in the LEAGUE. The Lakers bench is literally dead LAST. Last year playoffs JJ did not rest his starters! We are either exhausting our stars AGAIN or we lose. We have Luka, LeBron AR and Ayton as legitimate NBA STARTERS. Plop down our starting 4 on top of ANY other team’s 5-10 rotation and we’re WINNING and you’ll also see just how egregious Rob’s team construction has been. Smart is a typical good bench and the rest are not. Rui is different, he’s almost a specialist you call off the bench with his high 3 pt percentage but he only attempts 3 a GAME, no defense. He’s a luxury on a good team. Rob hunted bargain basement, one way players for years in a league who’s winning teams are constructed with mostly two way players! There was a REASON they were so cheap.

I think if Lakers go into play-in and lose first round, I expect Mark to clear house. That would be 4 years of 1st round exits in 5 years. That's insane. Not one single trade will fix all the issues. We all know that.

Anthony Davis effect. When you have a rim protector behind you, you'll play a few steps closer to the three point line to scare the shooter from taking a 3 because you know if you get blown by you have a deterrent at the rim.

Wizards guarded Monk and he was 1 for 6. Lakers defensive schemes just made opponents so comfortable. They almost attempted every shot balanced and that’s a big issue.

Our defense gets so bad, we need Austin in the rotation to overwhelm teams with unbearable offense. Outside of that it’s nothing to be done outside of a trade for better wing pieces. That’s literally it

Better rim deterrents will make 3pt close outs more consistent, because you’re not afraid of being burnt and giving up ez layups. Protect the paint first and then worry about the 3s.
