Wemby is the best defensive player and by a mile. The Spurs basically adopted a completely different zone/switch offense built around Wemby and their defense is elite this year with him on the floor. Wemby is actually averaging the least amount of minutes in his career and the Spurs are still winning at a 55+ win pace. Its insane how good he is, not just on defense but on offense too, and he's still just 22 years old, he's got so much time to learn and improve. He's literally one of a kind, the only defender in his league is Hakeem

Wemby is injury prone. When Wemby is healthy he's one of the two or three best defensive players in the NBA.
How is Wemby flopping when his Jersey is being pulled off, his leg is being trapped by SGA on a rebound attempt (no call btw), and guys tried to hurt him by hitting him in the back of the head, and getting under his ankle while shooting (also not called a flagrant btw, but Harper was looked at for 2 of those with way less contact over the last 4 games). Anyone trying to call for flopping with SGA, Chet, and iHart on your team is delusional.

Mavericks are 7-16 w/out Anthony Davis, in the 2026 season. We are 2 or 3 games, out of a play-in spot. Cooper Flagg, has stepped up this season, without on-court veteran support, like AD or Kyrie.
To be completely honest, the Mavs fanbase right now & for the foreseeable future, is not concerned with Anything Davis.
He showed up this season at 260-270 lbs. IF we are being honest, he has lacked, being a professional.
We traded a 26yr old, top-10 NBA & Mavericks franchise player, for AD. And, he had to have major eye surgery, now having to wear Kareeems – doctor mandated.
However, the Mavericks absolutely should not just trade AD, for an expiring contract and a 1st round pick. I'd rather see AD spend 2 more seasons here, in Dallas, and not play a single game — than trade him for nothing.
Because we know if he is traded elsewhere, he will likely do things the right way, and he will contribute more than he has here.
