The Toronto Raptors get their second crack at the Lakers. They lost game one of the series to Austin Reeves and role players as Luka missed the game for the birth of his child. This time, they’ll face Luka AND LeBron, all the while dealing with the absence of RJ Barrett, Ja’Kobe Walter and Jakob Poeltl.
Scottie Barnes has historically performed very well in road games agains the Lakers so let’s see if that trend continues.

We should trade for Donte Divincenzo and Naz Reid or Ryan Rollins & Myles Turner or Andrew Nembhard & Jay Huff or Scottie Pippen Jr & Jaren Jackson or Lamelo & Moussa Diabate or Coby White & Jalen Smith.
I think everyone gets the point lol. A Center that can protect the rim & shoot the 3 and a PG that can shoot around 36% from 3 or higher would be a great start.
I know its easier said than done but thats part of managements job & any one of the aforementioned trades should help to balance out this roster & solve most of our problems.
CMB's thumb was injured on a hard slap foul … that wasn't called…

That team shooting three point shooting stat is brutal. The way the offense was going in the 3rd/4th I had zero hope they were coming back.
Missed the members live this time looking forward to it.. need some optimism here. Way too many of the same player just one of a number of issues

Pen, this is worrisome, if we lose the next 2 we can easily be in play in territory when we’ve finally kept it at 4th half a season! What r we gonna do now play mamu as center bc CMB a rookie who’s 6’7 is injured? Makes no sense! Sign a 10 day ..get more 3 point shooters and solve the fukin zone man..when you have a real center it makes it harder for other teams to shoot the ball. It changes the offence and defence. And it’s annoying having RJ, Jak and Jakobe jus sitting out with minor injuries
Every game we play against the lakers for the last bunch of years has had some of the most questionable reffing I've seen. I was watching the LA broadcast and they were saying 'no way' is that a tech…..but it was. The for the Marcus Smart elbow push off they said 'that's clearly not a basketball play this is a technical'…and it wasn't. Even their own announcers show less bias than the refs.
Hopefully injuries aren't bad but cmb, jak and Sandro all injured at the same time could be a blessing if they aren't serious. I'd they're out for multiple weeks Bobby has to target a c…I hope
I feel like some of the players are clueless when they see zone.
Scottie always posts up on the free throw line to break it up and yet so many times I see him standing there and nobody gives him the ball.
You have by your best playmaker sitting in the ideal spot to break the zone and they don't get him the ball.
Sit Scottie on the free throw line, overload one side or the court with best shooters an put your best cutter at the other hash or the other side . Force them to shift to a side and then either hit the shooters or cut from the weak side. Scottie either shoots, hits cutter, or crash's boards. It's like they see the zone and play right into it the trap

At this point, if they’re hell bent on starting Quickley, I agree. Start Shead and put IQ at the 2. What is starting Ochai doing? Give Martin legitimate backup PG minutes. The guy plays hard enough to warrant it.
This team has no center, this team can't shoot, 3pt shot gotta b worse in the league. They don't get the line. They don't know how 2 attack zone defense, out coached every game. The only reason this team is above .500, is bc of Scottie.
