Coach Nick breaks down how OKC’s hand-off actions carved up the Spurs defense, how Jalen Williams rediscovered his rhythm, and why Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s mix of skill and guile continues to make him unstoppable. Plus, how the Spurs’ confusing “one-man zone” approach with Wemby backfired in the second half.

They won a single, regular season game against the spurs. That's hardly "solving".
They took advantage of the Spurs' injury proneness
Not a fan of the arm trap technique, 6:24 SGA could potentially injuried Fox's arm if he locked and turnaround, imagine you play defense and get injuried by the offensive player plus he end up getting another free throw
2:55: This is wemby needing to learn that it's legal to elbow people in your space. Elbow to the face, finish your shot. One bloodied nose, and freethrows to boot.
Does one win count as figuring it out? Aren't the Spurs up 3-1 in that series so far? I think there is something off in the data there for that correlation and conclusion.
The rivalry between OKC vs Spurs has been going on since KD and Westbrook. We played them 3 times before.
let me make it short: trash reff help trash MVP free throw merchant with 14 free throw, that's why this trash MVP with trash team win
Thunder win because Lou Dort was out!!!
He kills our offense. Spurs drop him and double SGA everytime and then he provides zero offense. He only has a 3pt shot and he’s struggling.
Spurs say, “please shoot the 3 Lou”
Ajay Mitchell is left handed and is a huge threat on the left with SGA in center/right side.
Next we have to put IHart/Carlson on Wemby. Wemby is going to score and shut down whoever on D.
Makes zero sense neutralizing CHET. Chet is like Wemby Junior. He looks tiny…
Move Chet to power forward allowing him to be effective on both sides of the ball and allows him to come in and double on Wemby.
We do this and we win series 4-1
It’s a little too early to say they solved anything considering it’s only 1 win out of four.
Sorry but pushing polymarket is a downvote
Nah nba just gave it to SGA this time to the amount of SGA FLOPPING
"Succumbed to the will of OKC and SGA!"… LOL. Tell us how you really feel about them Man. 😅
What ever you say he's SGA so unwatchable with that foul baiting
"Say what you will about his foul-baiting"…. "There's no denying he's one of the ALL-TIME best scorers the NBA has ever seen (for the past 2 years anyway)"… yeah Man, in no small part due to the foul-baiting. (perhaps we should include the push-offs?)
That veteran move of locking the defender's arm under his own arm while doing a spin move didn't work out too well for Kevin Love in one of the Cavs' playoff runs a while back.
They blow the whistle 1000% more now than any era of the NBA
They figured it out by actually showing effort and playing to their identity. The last three times both teams played each other, the Spurs were the more aggressive team. They played more physically than OKC did. Once OKC started to match their physicality, that's when the tide turned. Also, JWill helped make a huge difference.
Coach, where can I buy that MJ poster you have on your right?
Wemby problem is spelled R-E-F-S. That's right. The Revenue Enforcement Force was fully deployed by the National Betting Alliance. "The Cup" was riddled with fouls. It made the games unwatchable. And the calls only went one way. That problem has amazingly vanished over the last few weeks. … WEIRD! 🤔🤫🤐
One game doesn’t mean a single thing. So they’re 1-3? Teams adjust; the Spurs will too. Not a fan of either team so no biases, just stating the absolute obvious.
Knocking on the door of a Championship??? No. They aren't even a playoff team. They haven't done anything without help. The NBA is desperate to make Wemby a mint and has a limited window to make it happen. So they are willing to provide a bad product (games) to maximize the chance of success. Anyone who actually watches basketball knows it's true.
Dislike because of the AD. Two more and I'll unsubscribe.
I’m actually so tired of ppl pretending to boycott sports creators bc they took a sponsorship from a gambling app
Makes sense, the Princeton action forces the defense to actually stay close to their man or communicate the switch instead of funneling everything to Wemby
The double guard combo in SGA and Mitchell is also a big factor.
Wow, was just disappointed to see 6Man with a Poly Market ad and now you too?! This thing is truly destructive and even more nefarious than the straight gambling apps!
Poly Market and the gambling apps are super addictive and predatory, RUINING LIVES AND FAMILIES. Please don’t fall for the greed and “games.” 😢🙏
It was a great video and channel until about 4:48 👎😢🥀🥀🥀
Just watched your 1vs10 Harden video. You're wrong about him. 😭
It's hilarious now that OKC mollywhopped Spurs this last game. Now, the Spurs want to tell OKC fans to "pipe down," and that's "it's only one game."
That's ironic because the Spurs fans were already crowning the Spurs the new 2026 champions after beating OKC 3 times. LOL
No YA'LL need to calm down. OKC was in a slump and were getting out of it. We're 34-7 with the best record in the league.
We don't need to keep up with the Spurs, they need to keep up with US. OKC are the reigning champs and we showed ya'll WHY on January 13th.
Wemby has become very arrogant for someone who's never won anytjing.
And it seems like Chet is living in Wemby's head. He's up there goal tending and doing crazy things to try to "embarrass" Chet to the detriment of his team. I hope he keeps trying to "posterize" Chet because it takes his focus off of actually playing the game.
I know it burns wemby up that no matter how much he tries to embarrass Chet, he's not a champojn like Chet.
If anything, this showed me how the Spurs have a lot of of growth ahead of them, and some of it will be easily attainable. (As in, before these teams play again).
Despite OKCs depth, I think that Spurs have bigger, stronger guards that are more consistent from 3.
I think the Spurs are capable of winning a 7 game series against them.
Jaylin Williams is constantly moving when setting up a block.
Advertising for Polymarket!? See ya later, Coach!
JWill has kinda been the OKC secret weapon for the last 18 months or so and would be a starting center for 25 other NBA teams but is the OKC 2rd choice. And what a impact he has on both ends of the court. Shooting and hitting Trey's, has a real eye for a pass, can bully in the paint and can defend on the perimeter. He's a kinda watered down version of Wemby himself and maybe that's why WEMBY finds it so hard against JWill at times.
So? Who wins a seven game series?
SPURS 💪
OKC 🔥
The west is insane
Coach, this has nothing to do with thunder, but can you please explain to me why Brice sensibaugh goes for 41 mins yesterday and the next day he doesn’t start? Why would the HC not give him the start after this?
OKC solved no problems. The refs officiated the game poorly.
Harrison , Castle, Harper have figured out the Spurs by shooting horrible from 3!!
Just because they win ONCE, suddenly they “figured the Spurs out”? LOL.
OKC lost THREE TIMES to San Antonio in 12 days,
3 different locations – Neutral, Away, Home.
Point differentials: 2, 20, and 15.
Spurs had already been off a few nights before that last game, so OKC capitalized – that’s rest, not “figuring them out.”
If OKC beats the Spurs 3 straight games,
in 3 different places,
then talk to me.
Until then – stop the narrative. Period.
I like all the passive aggressive and dismissive comments, lol. OKC really gets under some peoples skin, that’s how you know they’re great.
Nah man they were toe to toe till the 3rd quarter if OKC solved the Spurs problem it would have been a much wider margin from the start
Spurs hater right here 😂
Still promoting gambling in 2026? Yikes
So OKC figured SA once and SA figured OKC thrice. Ok.
My solution for Wemby? Dillion Brooks him and pray 🙏
