Sounds like ownership to a just trying to save face. I don’t believe they didn’t pressure Bobby Webster to make a big move. They may have backed off due to the negative response from the fan base in regards to the latest trade rumours.
I wouldn't mind a trade for ja morant. Only because when he was at has best. And won the most improved player award… darko was the assistant in charge of that in Memphis. So in my opinion… if anyone can fix morants woes and get him back to top 5 point guard shape and status… its darko. Morant plays well in it. But I wouldn't mortgage the future on it. You do the trade for the future. So Barret ingram and scottie are the core pieces staying. And I think Murray Bowles and shead should stay. But anyone else and a pick or 2 unprotected should be worth it. I think morant in Toronto would be best for morant and he'd have some like minds with scottie and others with that control hood mentally to keep him from the other stupid stuff… but that's my opinion. Im also cool if edey was in said trade and throw in Jakob or no trade at all… but it is time to consider selling high on gradey… he's too inconsistent.
