Cariss playing over Daniss makes zero sense
When they announced on the broadcast that JB wanted to guard Cade, I said out loud that Tobi would have mismatches all night and should eat, and he did! Additionally, as effective as Ausar is as a POA defender, when he's allowed to roam and does a better job of rebounding, securing weak-side blocks, and forcing turnovers without fouling, that version of Ausar is truly elite.
Edit: Oh yeah, and Caris has to go. JB gotta stop trying to fit that square peg into a round hole. His bad outweighs his good by far!

I agree with the game plan to have Tobias get the bulk of the defensive assignment on Brown to limit the penetration from the guards and three-point shooting as you mentioned but down the stretch I think it might have been a reasonable idea to give ausar some looks at Brown because in a tight game you'd rather have someone else beat you. And brown almost beat us today with six points down the stretch against Tobias He just missed the last one.
31-10 and with big wins over the Knicks and now Celtics… I really don't think you touch that team – you don't want to mess up with that chemistry and history with core players just yet. To me, this looks like a championship-team and with their experience last playoffs with the Knicks they're championship-ready…
After the Brown hot take of him claiming to be a defensive beast, I had to look up him vs cade. Cade had a defensive box plus/minus of 1.3. Brown had a negative 1. Not even close.
Supposably Celtics will trade Howser he makes 11 million for couple more years. Pistons can use that 14 million exception plus whatever to get him his price going up we need guy like this he plays good d also. The guy who needs minutes is Jenkins not Cade or Levert team looked awesome faster tempo with Jenkins.

I’m not mad at LeVert lol. He makes plays and he’s always capable of scoring getting hot. He had that steal and dunk on Simons. Levert is no scrub he’s a vet and big for a guard. He’s not as bad as you make him seem, imo.
There is no chance JB will bench Caris. He's a vet. Its principle. Daniss wont get his minutes. Might as well let it go. Caris will have to be traded because JB is not going to do it. It's not going to go over well in the locker room to bench Caris.

Tobias had a great scoring game. His iso scoring was huge in this one. But he's shot 32% on all catch & shoot threes this year and 31% on above the break threes. We need an upgrade.
You spend FAR TOO MUCH TIME TALKING ABOUT CARIS LEVERT. This team is 31-10. LeVert is playing 15 to 20 minutes because he helps the team esp DEFENSE which you literally talked about at the beginning. Caris is doing his job as a swiss army knife who can defend multiple spots and can play with 2 guards. Maybe ask JB about it but every podcast complaining about one player gets old. Implying Trajan should step in is odd too
I somewhat understand the feeling fans have for Caris Levert cause I sometimes have it myself, but we gotta stop acting like he doesn’t sub in nearly every game & deliver impactful moments for us.
