I am OK with the Middleton and OKC pick for Zion under 2 conditions– 1. We can't move up in the draft with the OKC pick 2. Zion buys into coming into DC and is hiring a personal chef, etc. .
I'd also look into the Sabonis albatross if a first round pick (or pick swaps) are involved. No one is taking Wizards money unless it is an Ian Mahimi overpay special.
Taking a flyer in Zion I'm not against it. Need more help on the glass 👓
The only way this makes sense is if we can shut him down for the rest of the season. We'd win too much with him, the most important part of the current process is developing the current young guys, and this lottery pick
Absolutely horrible idea. He is the literal opposite of the type of veteran we want around our young guys.
