Wiz actually tried to win this one. Somebody should have boxed out Harden at the line but we missed a lot of shots in the fourth. Wizards moved the ball really well tonight. Good process game. I’m not using the word tank.

After Harden missed the first and you still have a timeout remaining, the winning play is to increase your rebound chances to secure the next possession. No reason middleton should be boxing out john collins in that situation

Why wasn’t Bagley in there for rebounding a miss or why was there not a fourth guy crashing the board to further guarantee getting that rebound?? Little things like this, as well as often putting out the most foolish of lineups, have cost the wizards so many opportunities this season. Maybe you keep him as an assistant, but this coach isn’t the longterm solution as head coach.
You guys completely buried the lead. We sat Saar because he was cooking too much.
The coach is damned if does and damned if he doesn’t. He has the most unenviable task of developing players and keeping the team in position to retain the protected pick. I believe that these youngsters are a little bit ahead of schedule and that if winning was the priority this team could be a 7 or 8 seed. Get off the coach and get behind the tanking.
