Every game it's the same issue. We take too many 3s and use the most horrendous lineups, it's obvious yet this braindead coach has the IQ of a rock. We're lucky we have a lot of talent on the team to make up for his stupidity.
Also stop giving the ball to castle up the floor, we have 2 really good true point guards in Fox and Harper.
Racism of the league and referees with teams with Europeans franchise player instead of teams with North American franchise player … It is simply racism… On four fouls for Wemby, two are from imagination… And he is fouled everytime… Jokic must have three championship and SGA none if they are referred the same way … Only Doncic is well considered cause he plays with LeBron. Shame on the ligue, they do not want Wemby as face of the ligue 👎. Spurs could almost win this game, they must live with that racism

Victor has to get into something this summer and learn how to establish position not waste energy and work on going towards the hoop and not away from the hoop. Brother was getting pushed out by Shepherd he was like 4 foot compared to him.

A lot of Wemby’s problems is his raw skills that needs to be polished. Footwork is what he needs to work on this summer. He needs to learn how to be light on his feet defensively, getting down low instead of defending from up high, cuz teams are gonna just push him off balance on both ends by him playing tall
Way way way too much foul baiting/flopping in his game lately, it's a nasty thing to watch. Just take the right shots, let the game come to you. Learn from this and on to the next one and hopefully a revenge next week against Houston.
I love De'Aaron but he's not helping Wemby. He can't play a pick and roll with Vic? And that on Mitch too.

I don't want to waste my time talking about Mitch because it already seems to me that someone else is giving the orders here. Advanced statistics clearly show which lineups work and which don't, but Mitch insists on what doesn't work. Why does Wemby get more minutes with Castle than with Fox? Why does Fox play most of the game with Kornet and not with Wemby? Why doesn't Fox do pick and roll with Victor? Why isn't Wemby on the court during Champagnie's best moments from three-point range? Wemby needs that spacing. If the Rockets are afraid of Champagnie from three-point range, doesn't that create space for Victor? Why doesn't Mitch understand these obvious things? Or does he understand but obey someone else's orders?

I give u one detail: stop shooting 7 to 12 3s in a game. That 7 to 12 possessions wasted. U were lucky they went in last time. Back to reality vs houston
Vic underperformed last night, but the whole team totally failed and collapsed strategically in the 4th.
From 12’00 to 8’46 in the 4th, the Spurs only shot 3s and shot 0/7 at 3s, going from 92-82 to 92-91. It was not even G league level basketball during these 3 minutes strategically speaking. Everyone knows that 3s require a high level of concentration and that you shoot less 3s when you are tired in the 4th (unless you are prime Steph Curry).
The Spurs did the opposite because of lack of humility, because they believe that they can play like the 2018 warriors. No they cannot. They are a great team at 2s and just an average team at 3s.
They need to recognize their key strength and be humble about their true weaknesses.
Teenagers would have had a better strategy in the 4th, relying on midrange 2s, pick and roll with Fox as PG and Vic and Luke scoring. It’s basic high-school level strategy.
No championship in sight without humility and understanding of your strenghts and weaknesses.

There is nothing to overthink about. All great players have games where they miss shots. Jordan 4/20 game in his prime vs the Knicks, 4/16 vs Cavs, Steph Curry 3 point game vs the Rockets, LeBron 8 point game vs Boston. It happens. Bury it and move on.
