Could Devin Be TRADED!?

Could Devin Be TRADED!?

Are the San Antonio Spurs considering trading Devin Vassell? With players like Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox leading the rebuild, the Spurs could explore moving Vassell to match salary in a blockbuster deal or pivot to different roster fits?

  1. Sorry if I rambled a bit, one take TSR due to time constraints! Any chance you think Devin is being moved before the all star break? If not Devin anyone else? Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!

  2. Why trade him keep you young core only reason if they like be traded or they like big money try keep vassel keldon scohan
Try get some salary dump trades with picks
    Klay thompson vet floor spacer
    Andre dummond big can reb
Jared McCain young player on slump
    Yabusele

  3. My thing is this is not the Dearron Fox the Spurs traded for and gave a max contract to. I don't know if it's do to the fact that Mitch took the ball out of his hands and put it in turnover prone Castle hands has something to do with it but he's clearly not in that killer instincts mode like he were with the Kings. Another thing is I'm going to need Wemby to play like he's the best player in the league "like he claims" against the competition and not just the mediocre teams. They have Utah tomorrow so I'm definitely going to be watching that stat line to see what he puts up

  4. You guys make big mistake trade ni low price push trade for sochan young player try fit in on improve game team in 1st day. Remember skills set point attack def that rare player can guard wing to big many team willing give you high price get him like contenders and def oriented teams.
    Teams will show interes now
    Suns
    Bucks
    Ny
    Gsw
    Denver
All this team willing give picks one 1st round or multiple 2nd just get him

  5. I remember when tim duncan came in the league alot of people were saying he was soft because he didn't play like shaq or like a dominate big

  6. Sochan is traded if (and only IF) a team want him for nothing (or near nothing) or a slary dump on a bigger trade…
but Vassell DNP it's just injury… nothing to read there.
About Devin Vassell, I'm not against a trade for a more reliable shooter who can defend (*cough* Trey Murphy) but it'll cost some FRP…. So probably not.

  7. We've actually lost a ton of games we could've won if vassell played. We miss his shooting badly

  8. Devin is one of the Spur's better 3pt shooters after HB- Mr 100%, which is what they are lacking currently. Why on Earth would they trade him?

  9. No he's injured he's not gonna be traded he's spurs Energizer bunny when castle is a better shooter when Devin on the floor cause castle wants to prove he can compete with Devin!

  10. This is just my opinion but I honestly don't think they would trade Devin Vassell unless they were getting Trey Murphy 111 or a high profile power forward. Devin is too good to trade i can see the Spurs trading Sochan before Vassell just because of how far down the rotation Sochan sits. Clearly my opinion. GSG!

  11. Vassell for Derrick White, strait up. Yeah, we know that will never happen. TSR, as I told you before, the Spurs never ever make a move before the trade deadline. Since the beginning of this franchise back in the mid-70's, I've never seen it. Spurs are staying put.

  12. Points guards are not cheap, just the ones that are liabilities defenselly… Fox trade was a steal, bit the front office needs to decide if we going grow organically or we going to expend draft capital and players to accelerate the process..
I think we should trade every player that will not be a part on this team and getting picks and cap space… we going to be a wanted destination of free agents that want compete for the title next couple of years…

  13. Interesting possibility. For JJJ or Markannen, it may be worth it to lose a Spur like Devin.
In other news, the Spurs YT video of Mitch's postgame has a comments section where Mitch was tarred and feathered. Viciously excoriated. I'm a lot kinder toward Mitch and think he is doing a pretty good job, though I do admit there are things he coulda and shoulda done last night. They are all learning and growing together. Staying positive.

  14. I feel like moving Vassel would be a chemistry altering move, and I just don't see them messing with that when we are so far ahead of schedule.

  15. whose better, lauri or fox? its lauri easily and lauri is known for having one of the worse contracts in the NBA, so……….. then why did we just give fox a contract that scales up to to 62 mil when lauris goes up to like 52 mil???? these pgs are already going cheap in the trade market with the new CBA and he can go out and get u 30 one night by the next night hes giving u 12????? we need to trade fox now before we have a near bradley beal situation in SAS….. like i really do like fox but hes like 8-10th best PG in the league been inconsistent and now we are paying him 62 mil in a couple years????????? yeah no thank you. Trade that guy now and a couple picks for someone whose better at the 3-4 spot. Look at what ja and trae are getting on the trade market, imagine fox at 62 mil…. no ones going to want to touch that contract.

  16. It't not the players….It is the coach. He can't be making these coaching mistakes. He has a great roster. Sorry. Just not a fan of the coach.

  17. The problem is not you, Its me….

    -Mitch Johnson

(How can this person not motivate our team to continue building on lead is he making our player build ego) Uggggh! Does the coach also need more than a year to acclimate booohooo

  18. I don’t think we need a drastic change, our guys were tired, bad night for us, back to backs have drained us, we’re still a young team with a new coach.

Everyone sees the success we’ve had and expects more but also forgets, we’re getting more than we already expected from pre season predictions

  19. TSR! You need to make a video on dearron fox and if he’s lived up to his contract. I personally don’t think so as he plays more like a role player than 200mill star.

  20. I do think Vassel is a key player in our roster, he can space out the floor which we needed badly the past few games he was out. As for Sochan, i do believe he'll be traded before the deadline. He is valuable to the team but i think he doesnt fit now that we have added some players who can shoot and defend. But i always hope for the best for all spurs players who venture out for greener pasture. Once a spurs always a spurs! GO SPURS GO!

  21. That is what I am praying for. He is easily replaced by Julian Champagnie, WHO IS MUCH CHEAPER.
Vassell's contract is like Zach Collins' last February. Paying TOO MUCH for the average return. PLUS, this makes 3 years in a row he has had an injury keeping him off the court. Not to mention he is not consistent with his 3P shooting. See if the Pels will bite on a trade for Trey Murphy III: DV and some picks.

  22. 90% of loses this year are cuz of Mitch got out coached 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️we literally still starting UNC HB just cuz he making more money cuz dude is playing like trash last 2 months 6 point 2 reb when your 6'8….until we bench him for Jeremy we gonna keep losing games to good teams and sucky teams with dogs….keldon can't be only dog out there we need jeremy to do jeremy things even if he not scoring at least he getting rebounds and hustling while dogging over team getting under their skin 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️…1 min left down 2 and you don't call timeout to run play wtf 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️💯coach mitch fault

  23. I like Vassell. I think there's a spot for him on this team. He might not be an All Star, but he's a perfect role player. He's a solid defender. He's a solid 3pt shooter. He has a solid mid-range game. IMO, he's mini Kawhi. He's not as talented, but he does a lot of the same things. I think they're letting him recover fully instead of rushing him back onto the court because A) We're doing pretty good atm and B) They really need him going into the playoffs.
