Detroit Pistons WIN in DEFENSIVE BATTLE vs Pelicans 112-104 | Duren 20pts 15rbs

The Detroit Pistons earned a hard-fought 112โ€“104 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in a gritty, defensive battle from start to finish. Detroit imposed its will with physical defense, strong rebounding, and timely scoring on both ends of the floor.

Jalen Duren dominated the paint with a monster performance, finishing with 20 points and 15 rebounds, anchoring the defense and controlling the glass all night long. The Pistons showed resilience and depth despite Cade Cunningham being sidelined due to hip soreness and illness.

For New Orleans, Saddiq Bey led the scoring with 20 points, but Detroitโ€™s defensive intensity proved to be the difference down the stretch.

A statement win built on toughness, rebounding, and defensive execution as the Pistons continue to establish their identity. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

  1. Ivey perimeter shooting has picked up i just wish he would get his confidence in driving the basketball and finishing at the rim. It seems like his injury is still subconsciously in his mind

  2. If Ivey is gonna be on this team after the deadline heโ€™s gotta take more 3s. Heโ€™s not a point guard thatโ€™s pretty obvious

  3. Chill out Homeboi you only talking about 3 teams no different. From all
The other nba teams. That are All pros . Okc is the one team that can manipulate the refs
Spurs and Denver canโ€™t. . We good . Pistons is Only one player away. Hopefully Ivey break out ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ or they make a move this off season or at the trading deadline!! #facts

  4. I didnโ€™t like how many paint points the pelicans had, and also the rebounding, although we won the rebounding battle. But we took care of business and thatโ€™s all that matters

  5. This is the one thing i disagree with you on king. I am so happy saddiq Bey is no longer a piston. Yes he has gotten better but i always felt he didnt fit with Cade. Swap him out with Ausar then let me know how you feel

  6. My problem with the record convo is all year Boston and ny (before recent struggles) were getting their respect while we were still in first. Just like us they haven't played the top west teams either. We've beaten both of them but many still rank them above us

  7. Daniss Jenkins plays like Bobby Jackson from the Sacramento Kings of the early 2000's ๐Ÿ”ฅ Jalen Duren got a sneaky good crossover for a big man

  8. My issue with regards to the Pistons' record is the goal post is always being moved. First it was the soft schedule. Then it was, well, they haven't gone out West for any extended road games. Then it was, well, they haven't played the Knicks yet. They've beaten the Cavs, Knicks, and Celtics. The game they lost to the Clippers, they were down 5 major players. Their 3 stringers and G League squad almost won that game. I think the record is legit because they seriously believe in the culture now, and JB has everyone bought in. They may not say it, but they are out to prove they were better than that 14 win season when the entire league was clowning them and throwing shade (looking at you Jaylen Brown). And JB is out to prove he was scapegoated in Cleveland. Wouldn't it be sweet to go from 14 wins to the Finals 2 years later? Let's go!
