Real talk I don’t even care what Giannis is even talking about because it’s all hot air. if you really wants to be the villain then do villain shiiw like demand the trade, and only to the Knicks. if you don’t do that, then he’s just yapping. but yeah, that’s the only trade. What I've noticed is that there's a huge overestimation of Leon Rose's performance and strategic ability by a large part of the New York fans. Yes! He got some things right, but in the last 2 years the only relatively positive deal (and extremely expensive) was the trade for Bridges – ok ok… and fire Thibs!
For me, it's been evident since the beginning of last season that this team won't win the title without one or more trades involving some of the 8 players with the most playing time. Unless many negative coincidences affect at least 3 or 4 of the strongest teams (as happened last season and we didn't take advantage of that). Otherwise, we will be surpassed at some point in the playoffs. The Eastern Conference title is even more realistic, but still unlikely to come this season.
This roster's opportunity was in the 2023-24 season but the many injuries brought us down. I think it's unlikely we'll win the title without a major roster overhaul. Unfortunately, Knicks fans have the terrible habit of being easily fooled and becoming too attached, and therefore, they are extremely resistant to changes. This ends up weighing on the franchise's management decisions and causing us to take too long to correct course.

The Bridges trade will haunt us for a long time. Does not play strong. Should have kept Hatenstein and Donte. They played with Heart and Soul. Clarkson is terrible- yes he scores, but does not defend. Yabusele doesn’t fit. Knicks have a lot of work to do if they want to make a strong playoff run.

Unfortunately unless Giannis demands a trade to the Knicks as you mentioned , Leon Rose should stay put on Towns and force them to figure it out. The team that was recently 23-9 and won the cup needs to be revived. Maybe Towns is in his own head thinking about being traded or maybe the Mike Brown experiment will end this year. Let’s hope they can turn it around especially on the defensive end after the all star break. GO KNICKS!

Once every other decade you get a guy like Giannis. If you have the chance to get him, YOU GET HIM. He and Brunson is about all you need to win a championship. The Knicks have great role players like Hart, Shamet and Duece. I'll take my chances with Diawara and Mcullar Jr getting more minutes if I have to. Bring in a couple more veterans for balance and we're set.
What's the big deal about Giannis? his season is mediocre now.
