Timme is one of the few players that KNOWS what to do when he gets the ball. He plays like an actual NBA Player
Timme should be on the roster instead of Bronny. So expect Lebron to stop passing to Timme now.
Timme's probably the best PF/C outa Gonzaga and nobody recognized him as a legit NBA player is just pathetic. For now, he's by far the best player outa the entire bench! As I commented earlier to many lakers streams, Timme is another GEM like Reaves years ago given if JJ gives him the minutes he deserves… I even think Bufkin's worth a deeper look cuz of his size (6'4) and shooting abilities. I bet he can be a better 3pt shooter than N. Smith Jr. and Gabe Vincent period. If Pelinka's shrewd enough, the lakers should give Timme a full contract asap!!!

What we're seeing from Timme & AR is that having 4 full years of undergrad reps MATTERS! Those dudes are already like vets when they come into the league. They see the game on a different level. They learned it without the extra pressure of NBA cameras. I think 4-yr guys are gonna be the goldmine for future drafts as unexpected bonuses! Lakers would be smart to keep Timme.

If you watch all the games and have been since the season started like me, you'll see Timmie is exactly what we needed all year and he does every little thing on the court that turn into us winning possessions and games.. If you watch from as soon as he checks in, he's effecting the game in multiple ways, making the game easier for everyone on our team and doing the little things that don't show up on a box score but if you watch and know you see it constantly from him! He comes in and instantly starts slipping back cuts which result in a easy lefty lay up, then on another play he went from boxing out there big thinking bron was gunna shoot then while LeBron changed his mind came thrashing threw to the hoop it was literally wide open all because of Drew's unselfishness and him understanding winning plays, he passes better then most bigs to, he shoots the hell outta 3 ball, makes the extra pass every time, sets good screens, boxes out super well, grabs loose balls, gives up his body to make plays, always the first one to dive on the floor, understanding spacing when at the 3 point line, plus is really clever and can use both hands in the post and has multiple moves to work over defenders in the post, also has great patience in the post as well, everytime he gets on the court we instantly start going on runs, dominating the flow and pace of the game and it's not just a coincidence! Those are the type of people you need on your teams if you want to win, we had it last year with Goodwin but for some insane reason we let him go (which I was furious over when it happened) now he burns us everytime we play Phoenix like "see what y'all gave up?" Haha That move was blasphemous letting him go and also Dorien Finney-Smith, I understand we couldn't pay DFS, but to loos Goodwin to, just complete lack of awareness! Timmie is in the same lane with those guys, not completely similar but have similar traits and qualities that lead to winning ball games.. He can do so many things and understands his role and how to effect games so if we cut him then theyre completely blind and need to get replaced themselves! Drew is the one and he should've been getting more minutes already I don't understand how he's still only getting like 2 6 minutes runs a game he should be in the regular rotation!

If Timme is giving you 10 to 15 points off the bench you keep him! We need bench scoring bad. He doesn't have to be the most athletic player in the world. Id rather have players who come off the bench and give you 15 ppg, shoot 40% from 3 and play within the system than athletic switching defenders who cant shoot. Ive said it before and ill say it once again, The problem is not lack of athleticism, its the lack of bench scoring!

What I like about what I see from Drew Timme in these clips is that he sets a good screen and then he is very decisive after setting it. He knows to either roll or move over to behind the 3 point line. And he's decisive in the post. He knows when to pull up and shoot and he knows who to post-up, who to do a spin move off of. Either that or he's just unleashing his entire arsenal of moves, to keep the defense off balance and guessing what's he going to do. And I'm going to assume that in practice, Timme has developed a good relationship with LeBron, because they both obviously love to pass to each other. And Timme is right on the money when it comes to full court passes. Not many players have that passing ability, court vision, basketball IQ, etc.
