Again, wtf are you doing to my team? This is the 23rd time I've had to say this! This is the 3rd time Melo came off the bench and we lost each one. Duh! I could coach these same players and beat you every time. How many shots can a man miss before you say 1 more and you'll be sitting next to me? If you don't have such a number then you need to establish that number tonight. I say 5. But you think that bringing our best player off the bench and best shot blocker is gonna win games then you and your staff and management needs to go. All of you!!

I was mocked. I was criticized. Humiliated. The world was ready to see us hoop and we do this. No wonder Jordan doesn't come to these high sought after games. I actually get the starting Sexton. Lamelo is too valuable, but for crying out loud something has to work where we're not constantly digging ourselves into a hole. A 6'2 and a half 2 guard was killing us. Make that make sense. If you want to be royalty you have to take it by the tip of the sword. GO HORNETS!
As a hornets fan I think a lot of you have been getting too spoiled recently. Acting like the sky is falling after every loss and talking about trades and coach firings, this team has been getting blown out every night for years and now there’s finally progression. It’s obviously not gonna be perfect yet but this year has been a huge stride, more wins and way less blowout losses. This team has the literal 2nd youngest rotation in the league. Like bro relax we’re finally seeing progress in the organization
The Melo disrespect is wild. He won't remain healthy by coming off the bench; he'll remain healthy by not stepping on someone's foot or landing wrong. This is an experiment to see how the team fares without him. This regime has drafted "their guys" and everyone else can either fit in or move on. Send Melo to a team with a former NBA players as the coach and watch him thrive.

Coach Lee is sitting on the sideline with a full analytics staff, medical team, performance coaches, but somehow the solution to protecting Melo on back-to-backs is bringing him off the bench? Make it make sense. You don’t have to bench your franchise player to keep him healthy. You just adjust the minutes. Start Melo and play him 6–7 minutes.Sit him early. Bring him back late.
And let him close the game.
That’s it. That’s the whole equation. At this point, Coach Lee might as well pull up ChatGPT, because the math isn’t mathing. 😠This is basic load management, not advanced calculus. Bench starts don’t protect Melo, they mess with his rhythm, his leadership, and the flow of the offense. And now you’ve got your best player trying to find a groove instead of setting the tone from tip-off.
If Melo is healthy enough to close games, he’s healthy enough to start. Period.
Start your star. Manage the minutes. Stop overthinking it.
