  1. NBA mailbag: Tyler Herro to the Pistons? As part of a 3-team deal to get a superstar for the Heat. Duncan Robinson + Caris Levert is a perfect salary match and then you just attach picks and a young player. It's far better in my opinion to get 2 good players to round out the team rather than 1 who can fix everything. Herro, unlike a do-it-all like Markannen, is cheap(ish) to pay and acquire and can run the bench groups.

  2. For the Knicks I would try and do Yabusele to pels for Villanova saddiq bey. And some seconds . If they could swing it both Alvarado and bey for yabu, Clarkson's expiring, Dadiet, another 2 mil salary and whatever seconds it takes

  3. Isn’t MPJs contract guaranteed after winning the title with Denver? I remember hearing that was a clause in the contract.

  4. You need to learn the 2nd apron.. Evan Mobley isn’t getting traded for Giannis stop suggesting that

  5. Why would chicago give Boston any of those pieces for free? I don't think teams tend to do favors for other teams…

  6. I’m far from a salary cap/2nd apron expert so not sure if this would work but is there a package out there that sends KAT to Miami in exchange for Bam? Miami gets the dominant offensive player they need and the Knicks get a great defensive 4/5

  7. Mailbag: Why on Earth do you assume everyone will go for 1 first round pick lmao 🤣 bane and bridges went for about 5 and Robert too and you could argue mpj has been around that level of not better aside from his sometimes questionable defense he has taken a leap and average way more and more efficiently than any of these guys ever did. How man first round picks will peak higher than this?? A pistons 1st will be late first In the coming years too. Also no way Lakers get herb for less than 3 firsts

  8. As a Celtics fan I I feel like I need to correct some of the things said in this episode…

First of all their financial restraints were overstated. They’re 4m above the 1st apron rn with the cap going up. So a guy like Zubac who makes 7-8M less than Simons is more than feasible. Idk if Jason rly knows what he’s talking abt on this subject

Second Vuc is not a Celtic. We have a type. Vuc does not fit. Horrible idea. We need defense from that spot more than 3pt shooting. Cs were an elite offense w Kornet last yr and they’re elite w Queta this yr. 3pt shooting is lazy take on what we look for for our bigs

My favorite trade concept for them is Simons n minott for sexton n Diabate.

    I like this deal bc:

    – it gives them good big that actually fits their system unlike Vuc. Moussa is an offensive rebounding demon (Cs love to crash the o-glass). Solves the defensive issues at the back up big spot while giving them a switching look (something they have been known for in the past). etc…

    – Saves Boston 7m but also takes back sextons 18m expiring which gives them the flexibility to offer a guy like Peyton Watson 20M+ this summer. The fact Moussa is in the books for 2Ms next also facilitates a FA signing.

    – sexton could be valuable for cs this szn or get rerouted for a pick n some worse expiring $.

Or they could keep Simons resign him for the mid level next yr and trade Boucher,Tillman n draft comp for Moussa or day’Ron this yr at the deadline.

  9. The bucks just need to send Giannis to the Bay 😂. They're almost in a similar disastrous situation with their franchise guys( Neither team has enough to contend around their Face of the Franchise).
The bucks could have ALL THE PICKS, unprotected as an ultimate desperation move by the warriors. Unprotected picks Post-Steph Retirement would have immense value.

Doubt either team does it though lol.

  10. If I’m Detroit I’m look for a ball handling scoring vet to put next to Cade. Kyrie for example.

Bontwms suggested this in the hoop collective recently but I target Detroit as a kyrie destination around the Luka trade bc I’ve always thought mavs were better off for trading Luka provided they trade ad n ky n tank this szn for a franchise guy. As luck would have it they ended up w coop too
