I watch a lot of Suns games. Not only is he a good shooter, but he's surprsingly good in the defensive end.Tenacious in man to man.Really quick hands.Menace in the passing lanes.I believe he leads the Suns in steals.I think he's the Suns most dependable player in the clutch. He doesnt get rattled or lose his efficiency.
Real ones know Colin is a baller fr. He knows how to win. He’s been a doing this since high school. Villanova champ. G league triple doubles. Ring with the nuggets (via Jokic 🫡) Colin just needed a chance to thrive and a coach like Jordan Ott to give him the green light
He plays a lot like Steve Nash. That might sound like hyperbole but if you watch how he keeps his dribble in the lane, it's very similar. And he's becoming almost as good a shooter. He's a much better rebounder than Nash ever was. The dude seems to get better every time he plays too. So give him a couple more seasons and he could be a legit perennial All Star point guard.
Spot on analysis of Gillespie's impact! But as someone who covers this team daily at The Valley Verdict, I’ve gotta push back on that title—the Suns didn't 'accidentally' find Collin. This was a targeted move for that 'Villanova Grit' to fit the Jordan Ott system.
You mentioned Anthony Edwards giving him his flowers, but the real 'receipt' is JJ Redick’s frustration. JJ literally cited Collin as the reason teams are getting 'exposed' if they don't play hard. We’ve been talking about this on the show for weeks: the Suns didn't stumble into a backup PG; they signed an identity-shifter.
Collin Gillespie is going to get a huge contract from the Phoenix Suns this year. We're going to be hella dangerous when Jalen Green gets into his groove and gets more comfortable; he's just another weapon for us. We just need a center to back up Mark Williams.

Don't forget he is a great defender too. All effort!
Phoenix recently came to Detroit and his dude was by far the best Sun on the court. He single handedly kept them in them game.

Suns got better because KD and Beal are losers and now the suns have winners on their team who play together and play hard
CG BLING BLING!

As a suns fan, I knew he’d be solid but I can’t believe how good he is. I thought he’d be a solid 10-12 minutes a game not a starter/6th man.

Good video, let’s face it there is a bias against white American guards (and Canadians if you include Nash)
Yeah I think you may need to swap to a Nash Suns Jersey… Calling the Suns the spurs back in the day would lead to 👊
Terrible video
should be about Jordan Goodwin
Known him since Villanova days. He just needed to be on the right team.

Sorry suns but y'all gonna lose him if y'all don't pay him 😂😂😂
Isn’t a player you have never heard of before this season who is supposed to get most improved?
Idk what’s more disrespectful, getting the teams name wrong or hanging up a Nash Mavs jersey
This seriously got posted on the day he torched my Nets🥀
there needs to be expansion teams. a lot of talent out there.
Glad I have him for fantasy
Ant definitely knows his name
He was Jalen Brunsons backup teammates with Bridges, divenzenzo, hart National Champion and nba champion that’s nuts lmao
