Why tf would Giannis come to Miami seeing how poorly the front office is ran? Heat were knocking on the door of a championship even beating Giannis twice in route to 2 NBA finals and Pat STILL couldn’t get necessary deals done to get over the hump. You don’t think Giannis saw that? Also, why would the bucks trade him to a conference rival? Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t want to be in Milwaukee, he has way better options than Miami. If I was him I would go to the spurs and team with Wemby. They have a way brighter future than the Heat.
Ethan actually put it perfectly in their last 5OF pod: Giannis will discretely ask out before the deadline in a way that he can always have plausible deniability. Main thing that I didn't know about the situation is that he can only get the MAX MAX from a new team if he is traded BEFORE the deadline. Knowing (publicly only) Giannis for a while, he is doing all of this very intentionally for the cameras to make sure fans understand why he wants out. Miami is also getting ready to throw the kitchen sink. I would be VERY surprised if Giannis is not a Heat past the deadline.

We should be known for miscalculating on giving big contracts, making trades that don’t help as much as we anticipate, not being able to get consistent play out of anyone…cause we do that much more often than any of the lies we get credit for.
I look around the league, I don’t see many teams doing it worse than the Heat have been. Detroit has gone from the worst team in the NBA to the first place team sooner than we have gone from an 8th seed to anything better than a effing 8 seed.
