The Toronto Raptors DESERVE two All Star spots…

The Toronto Raptors have exceeded the wildest expectations this year. All indications suggest that Scottie Barnes is a LOCK for the All Star team, but given the load Ingram has shouldered for the offense, and his impact on several lineups that have no business being positive minus his shot making, does Brandon Ingram deserve to make his second All Star team?

  1. Raptors need to Trade for Hoff from Indiana, dude's contract is unreal cheap and long and we just need a 7 foot grounded center who can battle for Scottie and CMB.

  2. The top 4 teams in the east that if the playoffs started today would get homecourt advantage deserve at least 2 allstars everything under that should deserve 1 representative, my reserve list is Jalen Duren, KAT, Scottie Barnes, Norman Powell, Jalen Johnson, Brandon Ingram, Donovan Mitchell. The Honorable mention: MPJ averaging 2 points more than pascal, plays the same amount of minutes as him and is higher in the seedings with a more shit team. God forbid anyone getting injured but if so he’s replacement number #1

  3. Run that trade by Ersin as a GM for either the Nets or Kings, I don't think it gets done. 😁 It looks great for the Raptors! We get rid of the players we don't really want and get back exactly who we need (according to Rob) without having to compromise much.

  4. As for the Player's Choice discussion, Raptors are minimally talked about in the US. They have little recognition and get very little respect from Americans and the refs. So of course, the bigger names on US teams like MPJ are going to get more love than BI3.

  5. MPJ is fools gold. I honestly don't get the current hype around him? He's not shooting any better than he was in Denver. His USG% is up and taking way more shots as the no. 1 option on a bad team. I'm not impressed. He's a great shooter don't get me wrong his shooting mechanics are actually beautiful to watch but he's had serious health concerns in the past. He's had multiple back surgeries in the past and wears a special brace on his L leg to prevent foot drop. This has resulted in limitations to his lateral movement at times making him a liability on defense. I don't see how he makes any sense joining our ball-movement, fast-transition system? Sabonis to me makes more sense in Darko's system because Sabonis is a high iq big that can pass and rebound.
    Here are a couple of scenarios:
    Domas + Monk + Ellis -> RJ + Quick + Agbaji (save $3m under the tax)
    Domas + Monk + Ellis -> Jak + Quick + Agbaji + Dick
    Domas + Ellis -> Jak + RJ (save $2.5m)
    Domas -> Jak + RJ (save $5m)
    We can always later get Day'Ron Sharpe for a straight up trade for Agbaji or Dick + 2nd rd pick
