Sheeit, Brown and Tillman for Giannis works and sweeten it with some first rounders. How many firsts depends on if Giannis is willing to extend past next season. If Milwaukee needs more we could throw in Minott or Scheiermann for the brother. They don't need any other moves. Win two or three chips with the Tatum/Giannis duo and then start moving some of the supporting cast for draft picks. Be ready for when Cooper Flagg comes off his rookie contract.

Whatever their record, the Celtics for me are so much fun to watch this season. A lot of guys in different ways trying to prove themselves and doing it. To me, they are playing with a lot of heart and energy, which I love.

Hauser, boucher and tillman and 2nd rounder for daniel gafford. Boucher n tillman would Just make the money work and would need to be waived by the mavs so thats why celtics would include a 2nd round pick
You can be buyers without using simons or hauser. The KP TPE exists. We can take back anyone making 9-10M or less while just sending 1 0f boucher, tillman or minott + a pick or 2 out. This still provides alot of options:
dayron sharpe, vyes missi, moussa diabate, dylan cardwell, moussa cisse, nick richards, adem bona, jay huff, goga bitadze, jalen smith, etc.

less an upgrade more a change of direction at this stage getting rid of Simmons is not an upgrade in this market. Simmons is up there in terms of skill level at this stage
When JT returns, Simons becomes expendable. That's the sad truth. JT must decide now if he returns this year. If Simons is traded for a center + a 1st round pick (& Boucher) soon, that's the sign JT returns!

I'm saying trade. It's not saying he's not good, but that salary is too high for a backup. We really need a solid big. It's a tough call
