I definitively without even blinking for half a second Don't care if the return isn't as good for Kat .. We literally have a 55 million cap space anchor that makes everyone worse around him, that we are much worse every second he's on the floor, He's by far the worst defender in the league (Like it's not even close, I don't care what anyone says) And lastly, we legit have to pull him out of the game to be able to catch up!! Kat is a slow extremely clumsy foul prone big that SUCKS on defense and ALWAYS loses when going up against other top big's in the league . The Knicks were AMAZING on defense and offense and had AWESOME chemistry UNTIL that Kat trade happened . Every since we've been much worse IN EVERY AREA .
I never believed in Kat, I think if we would have kept the team we had before the Kat trade. We would have definitely made it to the finals last year without a question.

Randle didn't want to be here anymore. The pressure to perform in the playoffs was too much for him.
I don't know how KAT will do this year in the playoffs. All we know is that his 1st playoffs with the Knicks was better than any of Randle playoffs.
No one wants to say it but I will! Problem #1 is Bridges & OG. There defense isn't elite (great in the passing lanes) which is what fans were sold on for wing defense and the money tied up in each says "allstar" and reality is not the case!

I wrote here to try to get Jrue a week ago and then again the day before the Post article, so that's probably where the writer got the idea. But I didn't say to trade Kat for Jrue. That doesn't make sense. They need to work a trade that results in them getting JRue and a solid replacement for Kat, someone who can score, create for himself and play solid defense. They may have to trade Deuce and Clarkson and maybe Kolek and Bridges. Some kind of multiteam trade. Westbrook would also be a great backup pg. We get tougher like 2 years ago with much better team chemistry.

KAT is obviously very unhappy and disinterested. Maybe it’s the new system. What is clear is this team is going nowhere. The defense and overall team toughness is a joke. We’re as soft as can be. Holiday and Grant will add toughness and defense immediately, but maybe there is a better deal to be made.
Only way to get better is to trade both , KAT & Brunson …
