Jabari 1-10 3pt..too inconsistent a shooter KD 44 min 36pts but 8 turnovers he playing too many minutes and handling the ball too much. ČengĆ¼n thoroughly outplayed by a legit 7-footer only 13pts in 38min. No one can handle the ball effectively in crunch time under pressure, too many turnovers or poor possessions, can't get a quality shot. Poor FT shooting and too many turnovers will keep them from being truly elite even with KD effiencient scoring. The role players is just too inconsistent shooting the ball and just not good enough they need a couple of trades.
Udoka, you are a great coach. But I think you must focus on intentions and behaviors. At the clutch, KD could give it to Reeds, he was open, and he is a great shooter, but he gave it to the other team ( I will not say Alpi, because he was totally covered). Ok nobody is giving "dimes" to KD, but he is also giving no "dimes". Reeds takes no pass, we can clearly see that. As a result when Reeds or KD gets it, they don't want to pass it. For a great coach like you, it is not complicated. All about manners… And Alpi is fighting with all his power, to 3 or 4 people, noone is coming to help him. WHY? Do they want to see Alpi failing? He is not failing, teammates make him failing. Alpi is not losing, TEAM IS LOSING. Today there was a great teamwork, great defense, but still gaps exist. Those gaps made you lose.
