Dude….youre not as good as u think u are! You can be pretty decent if you just learn how to fit in with the team! Holding the ball just dribbling for 15 seconds out the shot clock isnt gonna get it done! Shooting 3's instead of just living in the paint isnt gonna get it done! Flailing your arms out while yelling "AYYYYEE" literally everytime you're in the post, looking for a bail out whistle isnt gonna get it done. Stopping the flow of the offensive by being one of the biggest ball stoppers on the team isnt gonna get it done. 5-14 fg% for only 13 points isnt gonna get it done. Being horrible at freethrows isnt gonna get it done. Constantly complaining to the refs isnt gonna get it done. Being outplayed by injury-proned Joel Embid isnt gonna get it done! Not having toughness against other quality centers in the leauge isnt gonna get it done! Put on your big boy shorts, stick out your chest, go out there, play with some heart & play within the flow of the offense! Thats what we need!…
Side note: I like that Alperen Sengun contributes in other ways (box-outs/rebounds, deflections/steals, contests/blocks, passing to cutters and corners) when he is struggling to score.
Playing next to an ego balloon like KD is really tough. He’s one of the most talented yet most loser guys in the world, and unfortunately he expects to be treated like a superstar on the team. When Alpi was injured, he threw passive-aggressive shots and blamed Jabari. Before that, he blamed Alpi for what happened in clutch time. When VanVleet comes back, the problems are going to get even bigger. This team is no longer a band of brothers.
In this situation, the only thing Alperen should do is keep grinding, put in the work, focus on his weaknesses, and turn them into strengths.

Either you'll need to score those free throws or your shots, otwherwise you will stuck with 21ppg with %49 FG, and this is not acceptable as a no 5 center of a team
