Shead is great at running the point. His playmaking is great. Only thing holding him back from being a starting PG is his shooting. His on-ball defense is solid.

A 7ft, rim protector would have helped. I think Bobby is making a big mistake focussing on these big name, big salary, big problems trades like AD and Ja. Just find a solid, true centre and get us under the cap and do it now!
They had 85 million AVV sitting on the bench and they had a 18-4 lead albeit against a Kawhi-less Clippers. Raptors are a good team and they are a ceiling raising piece away from truly contending in the East.

Shead is a great guy, but he’s nowhere near a starting-caliber PG. I would go with Alijah Martin instead if IQ gets traded, give him a standard contract. Therefore Im out, I mean "N".

Totally agree we need an upgrade at center and not at pg . Ja morant is my favorite player to watch but he’s not gonna improve our team as if we were to get a ad . Jamal shead it’s an absolute dog if he can get hes 3 point percentage up , we’re basically gonna have another vanvleet but more explosive n fast

Shead and another guy like him are what Raps need at the point – with offence by commitee in Scottie RJ and BI – we don’t need flash we need a floor general to distribute and be able to hit bombs on kick outs. Jamal is not as young as the other kids as a 4 year player in college and Looks like a young Lowry – I think he’s going to be important. And yes with a little more time he is the guy a contending team can use

Shead has been a pleasant surprise for the Raptors this year, I don't care if he misses all his shots, as long he continues to facilitate at the level he's been up to this point.
A trade that comes out well in in the trade machine is with Portland. Quickley, Battle and Mobo for Williams, Tybulle and Scoot Henderson. Raptors get off Quickleys contract and get center in Williams that blocks shots. Portland gets a point guard and top 3 point shooter. Not sure if we have add draft capital but the trade keeps both teams under the 1st apron and even gives the raptors and Portland a small amount of tax space
We have let this group develop this year. It’s clear that everybody is improving. Dick has had two good games, and even Agbaji is getting better. Jakobe has been outstanding in the last few games. And what about Sheed and Mamu? We have allowed these guys to develop this year.
Jamal next season will be ready to start on a playoff team
We need a good post defender and great rebounder. Like Steven Adams, Andre Drummond, or Jalen Duren
You’re probably talking from bias but you can’t blame BI for not having a rhythm in the second have man. You can’t have your best offensive player only get 13 shots it’s unacceptable hence why Shead said it’s on him. Spent most of the game spamming Mamu and CMB pick and rolls and looking for Ochai.
