The Knicks are being linked to Naji Marshall, Jose Alvarado, and Yves Missi as the trade deadline approaches. These wouldn’t be blockbuster moves, but they could fix real rotation issues.

Alvarado n missi it covers up both our backup guard for Brunson n center for Mitch but still need a big wing
How does trading for Marshall save them money? Presuming Yabu and Dadiet as their 2 highest paid non-rotation players, who else would you include for him? So without trading a rotation player (and mindful that Kolek, JC and Shamet all make less than Dadiet), would it have to be 3 players plus a 2nd or two for 1 28-yr old journeyman?

They won't move the needle. They should try to trade Kat for Jaren Jackson. Put him on the floor with O G and Mitch. Suddenly we are a defensive monster. Then try to get Westbrook for backup pg. More defense and offense and a much better player than Alvarado. Not impressed with Alvarado's stats on a bad team. Missi also doesn't impress. Another player they should try to get is Jrue Holiday. Knicks need major help, not on the margins.

Ok now we get these guys- yes we are improved. Yet where is our # 2 guy going!!!? Of we stick with KAT we are stuck as a team. I am terrified as a knicks fan- all of you should be too. Cat will lose 2 games per series by himself. This is not acceptable for us
