Giannis injury: Milwaukee Bucks superstar to be out four to six weeks
Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo injured his right calf in the team’s 102-100 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Jan. 23 and expects to be out over a month.
He exited the game in the final minute after saying in the postgame “I could not, I could not move. And more so, I had to stop.”
The 31-year-old said he felt he seriously reinjured his right calf for the second time this season during the game. Antetokounmpo will undergo an MRI on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Antetokounmpo expects to miss the next four-to-six weeks.
The Bucks dropped to 18-26 on the season and are completely out of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
