I think its good that Hart is calling out KAT.
In my opinion Hart is questioning how much is KAT willing to sacrifice to make block. Will KAT get into those physical and dirty areas that doesn't necessarily get you a 3 or 2 but steps up another teammate for that 3 or 2.

I think I am good with this trade! Towns isn’t going to get the job done! McBride probably leaves in free agency anyway! Also move Bridges which I am ok with! I think Bridges and Kat are the two locker room issues! Maybe Leon moves Robinson also otherwise we might lose him in the summer! If we can get Donte and Hartenstein back that would complete the team!
I like your thinking but a few concerns. Giannis is a diamond 💎 in this league but… 1. His game depends on his physicality. He’s not like KD who shoots great. Giannis game will decline as he’s less physical. He’s been getting hurt a lot. 2. Gianni’s will clog the middle again like Randle. KAT opens the floor more. 3. Grant has a big contract and both he and Giannis play PF. I guess Grant will have to play SF. All that being said, Giannis is special and better than KAT. KAT is not a winner. Even in Kentucky with a much better team he didn’t win. I never wanted KAT so to me, ✌🏽 deuces.

The best move forward is to move KAT for assets and then re-evaluate at the end of the season. Getting rid of his massive salary would create flexibility under the apron to retool the roster accordingly. In the interim, losing him would be addition by subtraction. He's too much of a distraction for this team because of his antics. I really hope we can recoup the guys we lost from our 2023-2024 roster. They actually played with heart and had a competent defense/identity.

The officiating in todays game in the last 41 seconds of the game was the worst I've ever seen in a NBA game. The 76 Er's scored 8 pts in 8 seconds with a series of terrible calls. I'm loathe to watch another Knick game ever.
