I have no doubt in my mind that if healthy CMB will be a multi-time All Star in this league. I see him developing into a Dremond Green like on defence & playmaking, on offence I see Julius Randle.
CMB will get Stronger, faster, quicker and more athletic as proven this szn. He looks way more athletic now than he did at the start off the szn and college, he’s dunking a lot more of late, he’s grabbing more rebounds and blocking more shots too. I expect him to keep growing.
Compare him to OG & Siakam at the same age and you have a player with way more tools and upside. He's an easy 1 time All-Star and probably more than 1x.
When I watched on draft night mangement's reaction when they chose CMB, it seemed that they were ecstatic in the sense that they "got their man". I don't tend to follow pre-draft predictions as they are mostly mind-reading exercises and at our draft position too many players would have been off the board to look forward to any one player. Of course the fanbase was divided, with a few very happy with the pick, dissenters with criticisms like another non-shooter, undersized big man, low ceiling etc. I prefer to treat draft picks like a box of chocolates and wait to see what we have as the season goes on and I believe now that they did choose BPA with the potential to eventually rank well above his draft position. Barnes and CMB are not typically the type of sexy high picks that get the fanbase excited from the start as they were not known for their offense and were way behind their defensive potential. Barnes has turned into a game changer nevertheless and CMB may well be part of a future juggernaught duo on the defensive end. Not the conventional way most fans expect to build a contender, especially in today's offense-first NBA. CMB is also composed and mature for his age. I think he may surprise by next season with another summer to work on his offense.
So, what I've gathered out of this is on the surface level is that CMB is OG 2.0. Defensive strengths and has the tools and skill to be a defensive menace. Meanwhile, the offense has potential but it is limited in what he can do and has shown capable of doing.

I love CMB. I think the potential you guys outlined is realistic.
