This guy was a really awesome player! I remember being shocked by some of his plays back in the day. Too bad the latter part of his career was derailed by injuries that made it impossible for him to win a championship for the Bulls. I’m so glad Chicago retired his jersey though. He gave everything he got for the team. They did him right.

Blaming Thibs for that injury never made any sense. A 12 point lead with a minute and a half to go is far from a done deal, and remember this was a PLAYOFF GAME. And with the way d-rose played there was good chance he was going to get hurt eventually anyway.
Wolves fan here, lots of love to D Rose. I'm super happy for him. Well deserved. I remember exactly where I was when I saw him drop 50 in MN. As for Thibs, he's always been a great coach. Our mistake in MN was letting him be our I believe it was called "president of basketball operations." Letting him have control of being GM wasn't the move. But it was never about his coaching ability for me.
