Matt, Devin Carter wasn’t 0 of 1, he was fouled and hit his free throws, blew up a screen, passed the ball to open teammates, and rebounded the ball.
This organization was wrong about Neemius Queta, and could possibly be wrong about Devin. It’s called “groupthink”, and it’s a problem in any organization when people are afraid to speak up against the majority opinion.
respectfully, I think you’re wrong about Devin Carter, Matt. The guy has talent, and he doesn’t take plays off, he just needs a real opportunity. If we actually invested an opportunity in him and it doesn’t work out, so be it, but it would HURT for another team to develop him. He’s the perfect candidate for other teams, a lottery pick who is still super young and never got a true chance.
So here my opinon.
The reason why the Kings are so bad is Doug and Russ. Why my God the Kings wanted Russ and why my God Doug let him play do much even he distroyed everything??? Russ is caotic, egoistic and bad. Now he had reached more of his records he is even worst.
Dennis is wonderful, a teamplayer and brings spirit. He will leave the Kings now. ❤ 3 teams want him and recognized his value.
Forget Doug and the Kings's management.
Monk had zero turnovers. Why you tossing him under the bus. Also Debo only had two. Westbrook and Schroder combined for 11. I think that was the turnover problem. Monk actually played the best. Monk played the best easily. Why are we bagging about taking 13 shots for 15 points. I like your channel but this one was a tough listen

Matt ur worst take ever was talking so bad about Devin Carter! He may need to commit and shave his head but he’s a great young player and I want to keep him! When can it ever be bad to have a rebounding super super athletic guard?! Oh and he loves defense! It’s crazy he doesn’t even play based on 6 pillars we claim to have! Funny how Devin Carter embodies the 6 pillars but Levine and demar and sobanis don’t have any of these pillars! Just saying! Still love u!!!! Please give Devin Carter legit minutes as a PG. Lavine never sees the ball with Russ, DeRozan and Schroder on the floor. We all know we're stuck with Lavine and maybe Devin can unlock some of Lavine's scoring.
Carter is not that different from Clifford. The only difference is Nique has had a much longer leash than Devin but Devin puts up good numbers when he has a chance
Only thing I can think of is Carter must have been disrespectful towards Coaches or He must have said or did something.
And He's damned if He does and damned if He doesn't. When He looks for his own shot and scores He gets criticized. When He purposely like tonight was trying to facilitate and defer He gets criticized.
All I know is Detroit only scored like 6 or 8 points in his minutes on the court and I guarantee You no one is going to bully Him.
His Game is a little ugly right now because He needs reps. But He's more of A Jason Kidd type at his best as far as his will and determination being his best asset .
Jason Kidd was never the best shooter or jumped the highest or had the most talent, his main strength was his will and unbending intent on winning
Devin Carter Cardwell and Nique should all be playing with Keegan and Domas to finish out the season.

Just please God don't move Lavine and then keep starting and playing Derozan and Russ.
Playing Derozan and Russ has zero purpose and makes zero sense. Kings could go on a 20 game winning streak and no team in the NBA still wouldn't want Russ.
Russ loves to play the Game. I don't mean this an insult at all but they would love Him in China like they did Marbury. Russ just wants to hoop. It's who He is.
Doug is A respectful person he's not going to just bench those two hall of famers.

Haven’t listened to the whole episode yet, but I’m going to pile on. I’m not going to claim that Carter is a rotational player, but I would say he hasn’t had a legitimate opportunity to prove whether or not he is. Hopefully we trade away some vets, truly embrace the tank/focus on player development, and give Carter a real chance to prove himself. If he wastes away on the bench, he DEFINITELY won’t have any trade value and will be a truly wasted draft pick. If he shows something, even if the Kings move on, maybe they can get SOME value out of him.

I would rather watch Devin Carter than Lavine and Westbrick, at least Keon finally got to play some, maybe Lavine can just "be done"
