this would be tragic to let Benn just go for Missi.. I really hope they hold out til summer and use his value wiser. He's going to be paid by someone, so why wouldnt we leverage his RFA?? If we have to decide to match or pass anyways, then why the hell wouldn't you try to go for a higher caliber trade partner? Or at the very least it better include Trey Murphy iii .. Current salaray isnt future managment, this is a consistant issue with Pacers' Pritchard.. Comparing Benn to Missi and saying it;s close is ridiculous. Game 7 Benn deserves $25 million, which matches Trey iii "s current salary. ijax ben sheppard Benn and our exceptions plus 2-3 picks (NOT THIS YEARS) and swaps for trey. iii and missi works both financially and fits both sides needs… yes we can be outbid HOWEVER everyone who can outbid us would suffer way worse culture shocks and chemistry concerns by shipping off a core member of the other competing teams, like spurs, like okc. WE have assets and picks and need to be wise.
totally agree Herb jones / trey iii plus missi is a better haul.
I'd rather the pacers not even have a center than to trade mathurin for Missi, hell I'd rather have Bennedict at Center than Missi.
This missi for Mathurin is so disrespectful to the pacers. Why is this even a story. If pacers do it then their window is gone. Over.

We dont even know how Hali will look coming back and the way injuries happen in todays NBA.
