In this episode, I explain how Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors dominated the Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves by utilizing their bigs – Al Horford, Draymond Green, Quinten Post, and Gui Santos – for a majority of the game to keep their defense powerful.
This has been an ongoing theme for the last four years, and as usual, the Warriors looked like a much better team when Steve Kerr properly uses the bigs on his team. Whenever he went away from them and used Green at center, the team suffered without fail.

Even without Jimmy Butler, it's clear as day the best way for the Warriors to compete is to play bigger lineups. They are abandoning Draymond at C away from staying a competitive team. From there, get a trade done for a second option, and the Warriors will have the necessary pieces to remain in contention.
Why Kerr can't figured out by now!! Podz is not a starting player, he plays good when coming off the bench .. smh
At this point, I believe Kerr is actively trying to stop Curry from getting a 5th ring, but I cannot figure why he or anyone from the organization would do that, unless it's from Adam Silver himself.
Curry is such an underrated and at best an elite defensive player at his position considering his height.
Curry knows a bit of Ant's quirks and nuances when defending him; probably during Olympics or just Curry being a vet who knows the star he's guarding.
usually you got good takes. but youre too hard on moody . he actually delivering most of the season. he might not an elite defender but in today's nba there is very few that can guard at all . even podz played pretty good the last few matches .. anyway the problem is not enough bigs and strong bodies . Kerr is killing tjd . I dont understand how this guy doesn't play at minimum 20 mins a game
I think they should rest curry as well next game, since Green is useless without curry rest him too.
I can imagine why Kerr played tiny players when he wants to rest the bigs, give them time to breath or avoid injury..,so the solution must be trade always for big players..,.follow all the teams like Toronto, Houston, and I can say almost all team have bigs players in them.
Better rotation today than before. But still find those 4 guard lineup. It's great that they use legit bigs more but could be better.
Draymond should never have to play center again!

Hey Jim, great win. I agree the Warriors badly need a true second option. Outside of Stephen Curry, their next best shot creator is Melton, which isn’t enough. You definitely need at least two 20+ PPG scorers to be competitive. Who would be your preferred second option: MPJ, DeMar DeRozan, or Trey Murphy?

Well if you watched basketball long enough you'll learn some teams have off nights, this ain't the usual wolfs so the warriors will get smashed today… Andddddd no way moody will have a great game back to back…I'm sure they'll rest curry becuz of his knees so that's 26 points you won't see. And he doesn't do great on back to back nights
And for the Wolfs: gobert had 4pts, that won't happen again, He'll get 25pts, that's his usual vs the small warriors… Randle had 11, last time he had 27pts which is his normal pts vs these small guys lol … Reid had zero, that ain't happening again when lil podz and gp2 are on the outside.
just little adjustment and pls podz was good a off the bench player and for me if they play 3g line up at least two of them was a good defender

Why Gui Santos is Considered Underrated?
Santos definitely a game changer so much heart and hustle from the young man and post and Al in some lineups together would be dangerous

You actually said the word "Playoffs". 🤣🤣 Hopefully they can get out of this year and position themselves for a big trade and New coach. If they get rid of Kerr to me that will be like advancing two rounds in the playoffs if they were ever able to reach them which I doubt. I think a better coaching would literally change everything. Better coach that's not tied to DG. Letting DG go I think is a good thing. DG is way past his sell by date now. Kerr too emotionally tied to players he won rings with. Makes sense I don't blame him, I blame management. They need another Bob Myers. Even if Steph was MJ himself in his prime no way they reach the playoffs and advance . Oh wait MJ would have punched the hell out of Kerr by now and he'd be gone. I take that back. 🤣😆
Some great second unit combos in this game and wonderful defensive moments. So many steals I thought I was watching GTA. I worry about the next game. Back to back means Horford and Melton will likely be out. Then maybe they’ll need to rest Steph for this knee and ankle tweak. Any signs of JK? Unfortunately we probably won’t see him again. Hopefully Seth Curry can heal up soon. Let’s go Warriors. ❤ TJD will need to make an appearance next game and have Post and many others get double digit scoring.
I am really surprise on how Steve Kerr handle the line up rotation this game… It's like he's not the one coaching at all… until he shifted to a 4G lineup hahaha, I was like in cloud nine then got pulled back to reality asap! I hope the wolves don't come up with an adjustment with this current rotation and Hoping for a win today! Let's go warriors!

Steph is a generational talent, and at 37 years old, he's still dominating the game with his gravity and shooting. The front office should go all in and not waste the remaining championship window for SC. Trade JK, BH and a draft pick for a legitimate secondary option. MPJ is at the top of my wish list, Giannis might be impossible, and Andrew Wiggins is also a good option. On the other hand, what the heck is Steve Kerr sticking with 4 guard lineup? You have Gui, TJD, QP and Uncle AL, maximize the bigs at your disposal. This is not the 2015 Hampton Five, or the 2017 Death Five era anymore.

They can't win with this roaster. Nor can they win if they bring someone else in. Kerr kills everything. They can only hope for next season, that way Kerr won't be the headcoach

Melton and Will Richard coming through is great, but the fact that they are both good makes our guard logjam worse. If we're gonna trade Kuminga he needs to be packaged with one guard minimum but more would be better.

Unfortunately Kerr is more senile than his father- in-law; the great Pops. He can't recall his last game messed up rotations, and then you could see his astonished face like something unexpected came up. Somebody gave this man a hot tea, a nite nite punch and send him to an elderly home.
They win if gui santos more minutes because he is a lucky charm and green must be in power forward position always not center… everything is ok…they will dominant
Gui is what a true connector and complementary player for stars like Steph should look like.
By the way, he finishes, shoots, rebounds, and passes better, yes, yes—he doesn’t turn the ball over and actually manipulates the defense and throws no-look passes with fewer mistakes than Dray. He also rotates well on defense and does it with more energy, contests shots (he’s taller and has a better vertical). The only thing Green might be better at is one-on-one defense, both on the perimeter and in the post. And something else that’s super important: Gui brings positive vibes (he’s always smiling), unlike Green, who looks like the most toxic and angry player in the league right now—not even mentioning his antics that lead to constant ejections and technicals, giving opponents free points at the line. And for all that ‘pleasure,’ Green is paid $23 million more than Gui.
Why pay more when you could simply use Green’s contract to actually improve the roster?
I think timberwolves played bad more than warriors playing good the team felt dead and the crowd felt dead too
Guis santos is their lucky charm if his minutes is above 20 they will win and also green is not a center..he is not capable enough to fully defend the center where he is 6'6 defendinh center 7footer oh no!!!? Its a kind of a joke
I’m happy with the win—but not that happy. The Wolves are slipping, 4–6 in their last 10. Beat them again today on a back-to-back, then I’ll be impressed. Yes, we’re playing a little better, but this team still hasn’t shown it can be consistent.
