I don't care about your latest shiny toys, AG or Jamal are the best duo partners for Jokić. That purgatory year with AG being 2nd scorer to Jokić with Barton, Facu, Bryn Forbes, Austin Rivers and Shaq Harrison almost getting 50 wins sealed it for me even before the title.
Wait, why would Jokic play before the All Star break? If he plays, then he would communicate that he is able to play in the All Stars, and would not get additional time off during the All Stars break! I'd be surprised if I see Jokic play before the All Star break.
I think Peyton Watson is actually unique on this roster as being not a Jokic type wing. One of the reasons Braun earned more minutes next to Jokic than PWat is he was so much better finishing off cuts. That's something PWat still struggles with; he is a much, much better driver, but that's not a skill Denver utilizies much from their wings when Jokic is on the court. I think Braun is still a better "Jokic player" while not being as good as Watson overall.
The injury stuff is so weird, the Nuggets have been so opaque about everything injury related. They don't even really tell us what the injuries are – Christian has been out since November 13 with an "ankle sprain"? Excuse me? What kind of an ankle sprain is two and a half months? Some suggestion that he full on tore ligaments in his foot which sounds a lot more like it, but it's just so infuriating that we get no information at all.

I'd have Cam second. Since he's settled in he's been at like 50%, and he's much more consistent the Tim, even though he's not as flashy. Also Jokic is 4th at best. Almost all his three a wiiiiiide open. He only takes one if he has a few seconds to set up because no one closed out on him, or the clock is running out. He's definitely a very good 3pt shooter, but he has the easiest shots in the league because it's still somehow the best thing to give him.

The Broncos didnt lose because of a backup QB or the weather…. its hard to overcome a dumb coach. As far as the Nuggets they need to package just about anything they can or need to move Christian. That contract is an absolute killer and dudes got glass ankles. Losing Pwat ant having to keep CB is the worst possible scenario. Losing Cam means they traded MPJ and a pick for absolutely nothing.
I don't really think we have a #1 defense guy right now. AG has lost as step. He can't guard fast guards anymore. Pwat really can't either though he gets some trailing. But he relies on it too much and gets blown by a lot. Spence has been solid but I don't see him as an on ball guy either. And yeah it's been tough year for CB. Assuming everything gets back to normal I would say CB SHOULD be our #1 for defense. I still like him on guys like Ant and Hardin and Shai and those are the ones that give us the most trouble.
Fellas, Spencer has had 1 game foul out and 5 fouls in two games, yet Peyton Watson has not fouled out but has 5 fouls in three games.
