This is a contradiction. If everyone’s happier with their team in the offseason they won’t be willing to part with as much. They also won’t be as desperate to salvage the season / their jobs. If you get more in the offseason it’s not because teams are happy but because rosters are emptier (w players leaving in free agency & contracts ending) and thus have more flexibility to make trades under the aprons
