Cavs now 9-4 in January and have won six of their last seven now. Half a game back of the Knicks for the 4th seed and 3.5 back of the Celtics for the 2 seed. They’re back, even without health luck.
You have to make a coaching change at this point
You’re responsible for the best basketball of nurkic career. U might’ve extended his time in the league by at least one season
1) Coaching change NEEDS to happen.
2) if you pay black, personally Suggs becomes expendable.
3) I’m not sold on Carter at all, never have been, so I’d be looking at a new centre too.
last few weeks have been a struggle to watch, they have the talent and skill there but you can see them kind of fall apart and just continue to give up easy 3's. Suggs feels like the only guy out there working his guts out to win and Paolo just been doing his thing but it does feel like a coaching problem, there just isnt much synergy going on and a lot of watching guys just either try to run the ball downhill on their own or lob bricks from the perimeter

As a Cavs fan, the magic have to give Jase Richardson minutes. He is their best shooter. They need to be comfortable playing him in a playoff series or they are another first round exit

After the Bane trade we continue to be one of the worst offenses in the league, and our defense has fallen off hugely. Getting Franz back will help but that's not a good excuse, Boston is missing Tatum and looks so much better. Give Mose and the boys a chance to turn the season around but if we finish .500 it's time for some major coaching and FO changes.

What do you think about Isaac and Jett Howard plus two seconds for someone like Rui Hachimura? Gives Orlando the shooting they need, can fill in for Paolo or Wagner when they get hurt but won’t take possessions away when they are healthy. Isaac and Howard don’t even play minutes for them, Rui gives a good upgrade for a 7th man.

Mosely puts me in the mindset of Frank Vogel and Mike Brown. Both known for their defensive coaching style, but their offensive coaching style lacks huge. The metrics on their offense shows the proof.
This team has been underachieving because of their offensive woes and potentially their chemistry.
The injuries have been a factor to their woes as well. The chemistry can’t be productive when the team is dealing with injuries and inconsistent play.
As for the trades, I do agree that Tyus Jones hasn’t worked out and will be on the move.
Goga, Jett, maybe JI, will be on the market. Otherwise, I don’t see a big move happening with the Magic at the deadline.
Its clear this team doesn't work, its pretty clear Paolo might not work, and Franz/Paolo is probably not working either. The problem is that they ran out of options, much like the Cavs all they can do now is fire their coach and hope for the best. And frankly Jamal is a great coach, and its difficult to see who they get that suddenly improves the team. The only hope is that if they can all get healthy (Big if) then maybe they can get better cause the minutes their stars share are usually very positive

As a raptor fan I looked at that magic roster and starting 5 and I said our team is actually just as good and you see the difference in quality of drafting and just iq in general management other than Scottie in took 2 years to build our roster Walter dick shead Murray Boyles these are just rotational guy the magic don’t have that have been so important to us winning and that’s the difference WHEN YOU HAVE A GM WHO CAN ACTUALLY DRAFT WELL late late into the first round
