Why the Raptors might have the NBA’s most fun offense
The Raptors might have the NBA’s most fun offense. It’s not gonna lead the league points but it’s constant motion and speed and selflessness from every position. I got into it with Es from @raptorsrepublic. For our full convo, check out the full episode of The Kevin O’Connor Show.

1. The entire point of an egalitarian offense is the fact you don't search. The ball finds itself in the best shot selection. As long as they commit to the style, there is no need to search for this magical source of offense. It comes naturally. You score as a team and win as a team. So often, we see an equal point amount amongst the starters. They move the ball well and sometimes to their own detriment pass too much and pass up what was already their best shot attempt.
2. Scottie Barnes is very capable of being that source of offense if that was his role. It's not. He drives this unselfish style of play. I do think his point average isn't quite where it should be, but a lot of that is SB not having the star whistle. He really should be getting to the line 3-4 more times per game with how often he drives into heavily physical paint presence.
