Ok but what if we send Steph to the Bucks for the remainder of his contract? They get a crack at the post season this year (it's the East, who knows) and next year they can compete for real. THEN as free agents, they both come to the Bay and Giannis gets to be batman and Steph gets to be robin.

The easiest and best trade is to trade Steph to OKC. Time to blow it up. Get back youth and a bunch of picks, so Joe can see Kuminga play iso with friends. Steph can get his ring and a proper NBA send off.

Get rid of Moses Moody. Butler was no longer a good defender and Moody is a bad defender.He is too slow and indecisive and an average athlete. Melton, Payton, Richards, and Gui Santos are better defender.

AD was good with Jimmy n maybe getting Klay back . AD is hurt already and was trying to find a doctor to say he can play so how much does a already injured player who could hurt something else help ? Porter or Murphy would be better because in the playoffs AL can start because games are every other day and Post can be your backup. AL , Green , Murphy, Moody , & Curry is still a dangerous team . Plug Porter in that spot same thing . Key now is keeping Moody . So Buddy , Jimmy , JK , & picks should all be in play . If Jimmy was healthy you could include Moody . Green n Podz not getting trading .

I think remaining years on buddys contract are team options so brooklyn could just choose not to pick up his option at 10 mill so i think it would only take a 1-2 2,d round picks for brooklyn to do the deal

We need to realize AD is too injury prone and will never reach he’s potential again. Anyone who trades for him in out of their mind thinking he will not be injured again is highly mistaken.

No 👎 The title is narrow in terms of trades. Other centers are better: 1 Giannis 2 Myles Turner 3 Nic Claxton 4 Daniel Gafford 5 Vucevic. Acquiring such a Center = GSW are playoff bound 🙌

Does anyone actually believe AD will be healthy for a playoff run? At least I know Draymond will be available (assuming he doesn’t nuter anyone and het suspended)
Initially was thinking they hold onto Jimmy too, but after thinking about it more, I don't think they can afford that for the Steph window. They maybe have like 2 more years of Steph playing at the level if they're lucky? I don't think they can hold onto a $55M contract for half of that which can't even play.
Giannis obviously is their #1 option. Originally wanted to trade JK+Dray+picks for him cause Giannis Steph Jimmy would have been so sweet. But now? Straight swap Jimmy and picks for him if they'll take that.
I came to the conclusion AD should be their second trade option a couple days ago too, for the same reasons Timpf cites. Its a low risk, high upside gamble. But I only do it if they can turn Kuminga into a better fit wing, ie. Wiggins. 3 way with Kings and Miami to get Wiggins back, then swap Jimmy and this year's first rounder for AD. I don't think the Mavs are getting much more than a first for him at this point. Its a small gamble with potentially big payoff. If AD could stay healthy for a few months, your team gets longer defensively at 2 positions, gives you a bona fide second scorer in AD, a 3rd/4th scorer in Wiggins that we know fits the system better than Kuminga. My only doubt is could Kerr put that all together into his inflexible system. But overall, the title seems open for taking this year. Considering the way Steph is playing and his age, they should go for it if something like that is available.

On the rare occasion he’s actually not in street clothes he only shows up every other game. He’s good for 10-15 big games a year. Warriors can’t afford one of those guys, especially with his bloated salary.
