CAUTION: Detroit Pistons’ Narrow WIN in Denver REVEALS Deep Shooting Concerns for Playoffs

Detroit Pistons squeak past a Nikola Jokic-less Denver Nuggets, but warning signs loom large for their playoff hopes. Can Cade Cunningham’s steady leadership and Tobias Harris’ clutch scoring offset glaring issues with three-point shooting and late-game decision-making?

Ku Khahil delivers a candid analysis of the Pistons’ 109-107 win, spotlighting Harris’ fourth-quarter heroics and Cunningham’s error-free play. Key concerns include Detroit’s dismal 19% shooting from deep, reliance on Duncan Robinson and Harris for offense, and questionable choices by J.B. Bickerstaff—most notably, benching defensive standout Ausar Thompson during crunch time. Upcoming matchups against the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors (with potential injury advantages) create a window for momentum, but can the Pistons correct old habits before the playoffs? Don’t miss Ku Khahil’s breakdown of what must change for Detroit’s postseason run to stay alive.

  1. Some games we played without our starters and still won games! So the Pistons still shouldn't feel good abt themselves?? Make it make sense lol a win is a win bruh

  2. I think Bobby Portis Jr and Malik Monk would be great additions to this team. We might can get BPJ with that 14M and a couple 2nds and maybe we can get trade Caris, Sasser, and a couple more 2nds for Monk.

  3. Podcast hard to listen to lately negative as hell. It’s the NBA almost every game is close in the league .

  4. LULZ…armchair commentators and commenters. It was a mile high game and the piston won again…. on the road, i might add, and against a formidable team with a similar mindset and aspirations. Keep them W's coming.

  5. Man you need to relax. Denver is not some low tier bum team, we were never going to go in their house and just roll over them. It was going to be a fight. We got the win.

  6. Good teams find a way to win but we do still more shooting and rotations are still an issue

  7. The game Tobias played is exactly what we need from his position as long as he plays that way we don't need another 4

  8. It wasn't that bad of a game they dominated the game for most of the game and it's the NBA everybody is going to make a run the fouls at the end of the game weren't fouls

  9. Whelp, I guess Duncan is going to hit 5 threes per game in the next two games to make up for this. That dunk was a sublime coaching move though.

  10. Ku, you all are really obsessed with three pointers. In the Playoffs, you know teams can run you off of the 3 pt line & guys can still go cold. So then what? Keep shooting bricks?
