One of the key issues Nuggets have been struggling with is giving up double digit leads and blowing games. Its been going on for a few seasons now.
IMO, Murray seems to be contributing to this the most. As soon as the team gets a healthy lead, Murray reverts back to a "one against all" type of a player! Very selfish!
He puts his head down & starts dribbling way too much; wastes the clock; slows down the rhythm of the game; kills momentum & rhythm; forces low % plays & shots…
Tries to out dribble the entire opposing team, but gets too spazzy and fumbles.
Or he'll force a suicide pass to a teammate with 3 seconds left on the shot clock.
As if he is trying to prove that he is all that & that he is the man.
He probably has a desire to prove himself, because he has never been voted to an all-star team & because he may feel overshadowed by Joker's dominance.
He has to look at it from a healthier & more reasonable perspective.
After all, it is Joker is a A generational player; he has practically changed the way the game is played.
