  1. Sneaky title contender i still think they need another scorer though especially when the game slows down in the playoffs

  2. Hey ESPN all-knowing analysts: This is what real analysis looks like. Try doing one on your show. You might just attract 95% of the viewers you lost for always talking about irrelevant Lakers, Lebron and Giannis

  3. Once Jak and Colin return to the front court, as Immanuel plays off the ball. Raps are gonna start rolling

  4. Tbh shooting is the easiest thing to teach in basketball. And we have one of the youngest teams, so we can just teach them to shoot. The intangibles on this team are very nice. And i think they should just let them roll. Dont fix what aint broken. Plus we need to see them in the playoffs to really gauge this team.

  5. Shout out to all my fellow Raptors fans who defended Scottie when a vocal minority wanted to trade him last season. Believe it or not there are STILL some saying it.
In terms of the most promising and versatile defender in the league who is already a great leader who can also play the point and rebound…. He's it.
With BI3 taking a a lot of the offensive responsibility off his back he's playing to his strengths.
Having players like CMB and Jakobe Walter learning directly from Scottie makes this team an absolute nightmare to score against for the next few years especially if Bobby Webster can work some trade magic for a big without giving up too much

  6. I know Shead missed those free throws but he's SO FUCKING GOOD, takes care of the ball very well, assist game crazy, shooting 3s now, he's easily one of the most improved players last couple years

  7. biggest thing for the raptors is shooting. was hoping Gradey Dick could take a leap but he doesn't seem like he is going to be that guy. I'd rather them trade RJ Barrett (whose skill set is redundant and average) and get a good 3-D wing, or hell, at least a wing who can shoot would be an upgrade. And perhaps a center so Scottie doesn't have to play for long stretches. Mamuke has been great but i'd rather him be our back up. Raptors are a good team, I expected them to be 6-8 in the standings this season (they are one bad stretch of falling that low). But I expect them to be 4th or 5th come playoff time unless they can get healthy and keep up this run. Knicks, Celtics and Pistons are better for sure. Cavs seem to be getting it going. Philly is always a scary team if Embiid can get into form. Fortunate for the Raptors is that the East is pretty weak at the moment.

One thing that was glossed over was the play of CMB before he got injured. He's basically a Scottie Barnes Jr out there. He has that dog in him like Scottie to play defense, hustle for deflections/loose balls, with a sprinkle of shooting and passing. Fits within the offense. I was skeptical when they picked him but I think he was probably the best possible pick the Raptors made. Excited to see his development. If he can at least drain semi-wide 3 pointers at a good clip it'll be huge as no one projected him to be a great shooter so you'll take it. Shead has also been a surprise, if he can improve his shot that will be huge.

  8. You lost me when you said quickley is a really good passer and good at reading plays 😂 as a raptors fan he is the farthest thing from a good passer, don’t care what his assist numbers say. He legit will only pass if he doesn’t know wha to do, it’s a set play or he runs out of room on a drive.
