Gilbert Arenas and Kenyon Martin answer the question to why so many NBA players and stars are getting injured now days. Its lower body and soft tissue injuries that keep riddling these players with problems. Kenyon Martin says its because the new age of the NBA doesn’t workout and try like the used to. That is the problem with the lower body, achilles for jumpers and such. Russell Westbrook never gets hurt like Kenyon Martin says.   9. Liquor & pork are a bad combo when you're supposed to be an athlete. That shit is already bad for regular non-athletic motherfuckers like myself but doing that, partying all hours of night, and not putting the work in that keeps you from getting torn ligaments and muscles is ridiculous.

  10. Kmart is right. These guys nowadays work on their game but donโ€™t actually train their bodies to handle the explosiveness that comes with it. Theyโ€™re not weightlifting or doing any type of real power movements (especially people like zion ). Lot of stability and isometric work

He dont have the same explosion cause hes older and for the 1000th time the PACE dudes are playing at plus having to be able to guard multiple positions means u have to be more loose than strong. When you running fast breaks 80% of the time then when the game slow down u have to stop-start every time u run thru 3/4 screens then yes youre gonna get hurt alot. Kenyon would of got hurt more if he had to guard Tim duncan and other PFs faithfully from the 3pt line all the way down to the paint while having to be able to guard a Shaq next game then also guard AI on the switch next game

When Shaq takes up 12 seconds of the shot clock then yea ur not gonna get hurt alot cause 8 other players are watching. Now everyone is moving cause Centers shooting 40% from 3 and plays got better with dudes runnin thru 60 screens a night

  15. Too much extra movement , 3 dribble drill , passing and shooting NBA teams back then use to have clean plays to run , now players want to dribble so much and strain their muscles
