Spurs showed some real fight tonight. They needed this after a few disappointing losses where they just got outplayed. This young team and coaching staff are looking for their identity and I hope they can start to find it before the playoffs arrive.
Wemby was getting the Wemby Rules treatment tonight, he toughed it out and Stephon looked like an all NBA defender, he held both Sengun and Durant down in the second half. Harper was looking smooth, he needs more minutes with Castle!
A tale of two halves! Rockets couldn’t miss in the first quarter. Luckily spurs hung around at half. Then they came out aggressive and turned the defensive intensity on in the second half! Awesome game if you’re a Spurs fan!
Being a S.A. native who follows the Spurs – in the pre season many on the team mentioned to be on this team – you have to be defensive minded. The scoring is there, but the D is a group effort.
