I don't think Steph would get another ring with Kerr still being there but business wise Gianni's could continue the franchise as a ticket drawer.
Most media say no way NY can do the trade the Bucks want. Spurs, Pistons, Rockets, & OKC have the best trade packages but media says they don’t want to break up their teams.
Reporting sounds like Miami, Atlanta, & GSW have the best trade packages of interested teams that are willing to deal, etc…
Sounds like Giannis has some say, so where he wants to go might be the tie breaker if all packages are similar.
So guess GSW have a shot. Would be interesting. However, if I were betting, then I’d guess the Bucks don’t trade Giannis until after the season with the hope of getting more for the trade. Unless Giannis applies a ton of pressure the Bucks have no incentive to trade now.
If anyone thinks that the Bucks are going to trade a top 5 NBA player for an almost 40 Jimmy Butler with a fresh torn ACL, they have to be smoking rocks in a glass pipe. 😂

Even if they had prime Steph KD Klay and Dray I would be doubtful of a ring if Kerr kept playing Podz- sometimes it looks like Podz is trying to intentionally loose games!

I think Giannis already cemented the deal and the Bucks are finally rolling out the media clickbait propaganda for a deal that’s already done.
I also think it explains why GSW has been so careless in its management of Jonathan Kuminga and so nebulous on whether Kerr is coming back. If GSW has Giannis and they already know it, then they know the fans will forget how badly they have treated Kuminga.
The other factor that nobody discusses enough, but might actually be an inducement, is the networking and business opportunities in the Bay Area. Iguodala has talked about how he benefited from being in the Bay and I think Jimmy understands those opportunities too.
These are legal financial opportunities because they would be offered by private individuals, not the org or anyone connected to it. The Bay Area has a Greek community that is very powerful and very influential, including on the national level. It’s possible Giannis is already connected to them, but it’s another advantage that GSW has that other orgs might not be able to unofficially offer him.
I’m not saying Giannis is definitely coming to GSW, he might get the same benefits from going to any of the CA basketball teams. I’m just saying that a lot of the information we already have lines up.
