Have we finally done it? Is Steve Kerr on the cusp of letting go of his beloved tiny lineups? He used a tiny lineup for just three minutes in this game and quickly abandoned it when it, of course, started failing him again. It's been a frustrating season, but Kerr has fixed a whole bunch of Kerr-induced problems, and that's a path for this team to look like a completely different and better team. Now, if they can go and get that deal for Giannis or whatever…
Defense wins games and good defense leads to good offensive possessions. Why in the world would Kerr even go to a small ball lineup (even if it was only 3 minute stretch) in the 4th quarter? That just allowed the Jazz to reduce the deficit to under double digits. Draymond at the 5 (small ball/4 guard lineups) is just not viable and allows their opponents to get into easy offensive possessions. Thank goodness it was only for about 3 minutes. That happens over and over again. Why does Kerr even do this? Moody CAN be effective if in the right lineup combinations and if he is allowed to be engaged. When engaged, he seems to hustle more and play better defense, and on offense he can hit the open 3. Gui is just a wonderful player and so unselfish, plays with such energy and hustle. He does all the little things that make him so effective. Wish we could see him more on the floor. He is such a complimentary player. Still need to get rid of Hield, Podz, JK. Podz can be effective off the bench and has shown that, but defensively he is a liability. He flops so much on defense, and plays matador defense. Kerr has enabled Podz too much and due to that he seems to think he is the future of the team (and will be the No. 1 option). But as a Kerr favorite, he gets minutes he doesn't deserve.

I don't know why people want Giannis when Kerr does not know how to play big men. Kerr's offense is predicated on all players deferring to Steph on every possession. Giannis is not a 3pt shooter and is an iso player.
When i see a big and competent lineup, i call it "The Jim Park Crew" particularly with QP, Melton, Richard and Gui in it

Why would Giannis want to go to a play-in team ? Especially one that will surround him with 3 and 4 guards that will only make him work harder on defense ?
Yes, he'll make the Warriors better, but they'll still have the same coach. The one who doesn't play bigs.

I want to throw in Podz as well. It's no doubt in my mind he love this team and really appreciate playing with Steph seemingly more than most. So he will always continue to play hard and get better.
If bucks don’t want to deal Giannis or get too cute, go get AD, wigs and Harrison Barnes and only give up three players and picks. They spread the floor better and I’d argue give you better chances than just getting one guy.

Warriors are cooked..bucks not trading Giannis before the deadline and if they trade jk just to get Wiggins back to play PF that would be laughable
Melton and Richard will be a top 5 defensive back court in 2-3 years just watch. Will already averring 1.2 steals and got 6 steals vs timber wolves

I think it will be difficult to trade for Giannis, but if it happens, it would change everything. 5th February is not far off, so they have to give it their all. In this game, we saw almost perfect rotations. Let's hope they are enough to win the next games, which will be difficult.

If Giannis comes who's the Alpha? Earth shattering dunks' style points don't register on the scoreboard. A 2 is a 2 and Steph's 3's are a 3. When Damien was with the Bucks, the closest thing to Steph @ the time it didn't move the needle. If Giannis has to be the man, I fear a similar result. And the price? The way he plays how long before before that calf strain is a achilles tear?
I'd rather we go for MPJ , not as costly and wait for Butler's return. If JK didn't fit how's JK on steroids going to help?
Use all the picks, extend Giannis, he doesn't fit and get a career injury and the Warriors face a rebuild that would take a decade just to start.
Listen, Steph Curry and Giannis would be monsters TOGETHER. WE saw how they played together in that All-star game.
BUT, I am telling y'all, mark my words, if messy sneaky snake azz Draymond Green is STILL ON THE TEAM when Giannis gets there, there will be a short "improvement and winning period" THEN things will start to look like it has looked for the last 3 years. Like confusion. Like incompetence. Like sabotage. Giannis will start to look NOT SO great. The EXACT thing that happened with Kuminga AND Jimmy Butler. AND other guys BEFORE them. Look at AL Hortford. Hortford was a major part of the Celtics' winning FOR YEARS. NOW, Hortford is playing back-up center to Draymond Green? 😵💫 WHAT? How asinine is THAT? There will again BE Straight up low down, locker room, planting "negative" SEEDS IN the MIND, by snake azz Draymond Green.
BECAUSE Draymond Green is obsessed with being the ONLY "second banana" TO Steph Curry. Draymond Green got rid of a great Steph Curry "second banana", partner name Kevin Durant. Draymond Green got rid of Steph Curry's "mini-me, second banana" Jordan Poole. AND, I am convinced Draymond Green had something to do with how shabby the Warrior organization treated Steph Curry' s MAIN lifelong "second banana" Klay Thompson. THEN, comes in Jimmy Butler, a new Steph Curry " second banana". And NOW, Butler is gone. Either Steph Curry and the Warriors are severely cursed OR Draymond Green is the DEFINITION of "Single White Female" and HE is sabotaging ANYBODY who dares to BE Steph Curry's "second banana".
Steph Curry is/ has ALWAYS been Draymond Green's ONLY claim and path TO the "fame" Draymond's NOW celebrates.

The sad part is that Kerr is only playing this lineup to feature certain players so they do a quick build up for trade purposes. I hope it sticks but I don’t trust Kerr at all.
Gui Santos at this point is still and probably never will be what Draymond is on defense, but he holds on easily, in the offensive end he's 10x the player Draymond is, he's a reliable three point shooter, his playmaking is better, because of his offensive threat at the rim, like Draymond could never finish those lay ups against Nurkic and this opens the floor to kick the ball outside.
If we get Giannis or AD i don't see how they could play with Draymond, because they can't stay in the corner like Jimmy could, they need the rock to play pnr with Steph and make plays out of the short roll. Either way i don't see him long time with the Warriors, it's sad because i'm a big fan of him, but it's normal when players age, Steph is the anomally.

Are you saying that if you use the right combination of players, put them in their natural positions on the court, and surround Steph with players who have a complementary skill set, the team actually looks like a real basketball team that wants to (and can) win? Wow, who would’ve thought. Too bad it took Kerr 4 seasons to figure that out.
I know it was against the Jazz, but what a beautiful game to watch! The role players played with so much confidence and intent.
I think that if you replace Podz and Moody with Melton and Richard in the starting lineup, and also give Hield’s minutes to TJD, this could make GSW a very competitive and uncomfortable team for many top opponents, even under these circumstances and with all the issues they’re dealing with.
The Bucks WANT to trade Giannis, Giannis loves Steph Curry. AND, Giannis loves playing with Steph Curry. IF, IF, IF, Giannis DOES NOT come to the Warriors, THEN WE are ABSOLUTELY sure that THERE is something "really rotten" I that Warrior organization.

Gui Santos!!! What a special guy, he does EVERYTHING on the court. If you consider contender, you NEED to have a guy like that on your team. Luckily, we have him!! 🇧🇷🔥
Stop complimenting Kerr, after so many seasons of nonsensical lineups and losing seasons the wins with the correct lineups proves Kerr has been the wrong coach
