If the opportunity really shows itself. I'm afraid it's a no brainer. Stopping at Ace and this year's draft pick I would give what they asked for. I believe we could get him and keep Key and Ace. All of our other prospects are super flawed somewhere anyway and I believe super replaceable. It scares the sh#! Out of me but yes you trade for Giannis
He’s already moved his family back to Greece because they are not comfortable with what’s going on in the US. He’s won an NBA championship. He’s played 12 seasons and is 31 years old.
6’11 and has had lingering injuries. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs it up next year and goes home to be with his family and play there for a year or two.

They should try to get Gianni’s, they aren’t going to get him. If they somehow get him, they should go all in on position less and start key, ace, Kody, lauri and Gianni. Trade Walker. Pretty sure the statistics support point center Gianni’s is a thing and it’s pretty good, opposing centers can’t keep up.

The only team in 10 years who traded for a star, won a championship for 1 year was Toronto with Kawaii, every other one was a bust or did no good, build like OKC, they have shown the road to success
I'm voting no. The era of superstars carrying teams is over imo. I think you have to build organically like OKC did, and we are doing. Maybe you grab an SGA if the opportunity falls into your lap, but do not trade away a bunch of picks for a Giannis or Giannis-type.
If you know you have zero chance at landing Reaves and don't want to pay Kessler 30M, then you have to gamble. Ace has shown flashes but he won't be ready for 3-4 years. I think you do it just for the 1-2 years of PR for a pretty good team.
Lauri plus Giannis would be wild.

I really don’t hate either of these trades for us, if they were done this summer.
The most important thing for us I think is ending this season with the best odds in the draft that we can and then going out and starting to build a winning team this summer.
Making a big splash type trade for a win now guy is a bad idea imo
