    I love this roster of young players and it would be a huge mistake by the FO to start trading away key pieces.

    This trade is good but does not seem like it will happen. I just put a trade thru the trade machine with the Pelicans and Lakers and it worked with the Raptors coming 400K under the cap and they get 2 centers. New Orleans wants a 1st for Missi and with the Lakers they have Ayton on the bench as dead money this year and next they would love expiring contracts and could use a guy like Ochai's defense.

    We send to the Lakers their 2nd with Ochai and Temple and tell them we want to upgrade to your fist pick in 2026 and you get your 2nd back for giving you two expiring contracts and taking Ayton off the books. This first round pick gets flipped to New Orleans for Missi and New Orleans get Battle and Mobo.

    We then have two centers here in Ayton and Missi, and we are 400K under the cap. New Orleans gets a 2026 first and the Lakers get off Ayton and have more money in the off season, its win, win, win for all. We still get our first and 2nd picks in the 2026 draft we just lose the Lakers 2nd. This deal helps us resign RJ as well as when RJ raise is due Ayton is coming off the books

    This trade is perfect for the raptors but if the pels don’t budge on Trey which I don’t think they will they can go with Ben’s idea and go for Sadiq Bey and Missi far cheaper and would require less assets

    U definitely should of made this video after Knicks game 🤣..that OG trade was just perfect. Rj and IQ got 2 go, they are not good for this team, if they want go deep in the playoffs. I don't get what ppl c in them, one can't guard a chair and the other can't run pg, both are way overpayed. One is about 2 hit FA and thinks his MJ and should be paid more 35 million 🤣..Move them before it's 2 late.

    i wonder why nobody is questioning the possibility that RJ takes a paycut on his next contract to stay with the raptors and stay within the salary cap? the value of a player is all relative to his contract. he will be an overpay at $30m+ but what if he is content on a static $25m contract for 2 or 3 years? still not worth keeping? i'd argue that is a very fair contract and he would be paid according to his value at that price. to be perfectly honest, i don't know of many teams, if any, that would pay north of $30m for RJ anyways so $25m or below may just be his market rate.
