The Bucks are in a perfect position to rebuild and compete with teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, especially if they consider trading Giannis to acquire valuable assets and number one picks. They are not in a bad situation at all. If I were in Milwaukee's shoes, I would see this as a great opportunity to position themselves for future success.Teams that don’t need to trade for Giannis include Houston, Oklahoma City, and the New York Knicks, as they already have strong rosters. Milwaukee is in a complete rebuild and needs to focus on developing young talent. Conversely, teams that don’t need him may risk going over the salary cap and face a short window for growth, making it challenging to keep their teams together.Honestly, getting rid of Jimmy Butler—who may not be the same player he once was and has only one year left on his contract—could be wise. Resigning him would put additional financial pressure on the team. Additionally, with Kuminga on an expiring contract, it makes sense to consider moving these players off the books for both parties. I would strongly support this trade.

These talking heads talk with no clear information. As reported many times knicks cant do the 1st until the draft. Plus the first is a swap with washington i believe which will end up being two seconds. They have a first later in 2030 or 31. So its not an easy clear cut thing to figure out. The Knicks have to figure something out Kat still salty from last year with all the Giannis trade talks and has grown frustrated he's having to get it out the mud for points and will continue to play like this the rest of the season they don't want to take that chance so I would make trade deadline deal for Giannis.
Unpopular opinion here but I do think this team with a couple adjustments can win the NBA title/championship this season. I know the NBA Cup isn't the same as the Larry O'Brian trophy but when this team locks in I believe they can and will win it all. Hope I see it happen this season.

We don’t have draft assets. The Bucks will want picks because moving Giannis signals are rebuild. If we did trade for Giannis it means Kat is gone & OG is gone and maybe even Deuce. Knicks have tried this path before. Two players max and picks. Giannis gives you 3 maybe 4 years to compete. After that, cupboards is bare with no picks only expensive FA’s. I don’t want the drought.

The Heat and Warriors have more to offer than the NYKs do, so that puts them at a disadvantage right out the gate. The only thing working in their favor is if NY is his top spot to be. This absolutely comes down to what Giannis's top destination is, and then you work from there.
