Tonight, 🐐👑 Lebron James showed why he's the Lakers #2 of the future alongside Luka, by scoring 11 pts on a blazing 3-10 shooting night, with 0/3 on 3pointers, and only 6 turnovers! His elite productivity gave him an age-defying net Negative -22 for the game, in a really close 30pt loss! Lebron looked amazing defying Father Time once again. Lebron feels he can produce at this level for at least another five years, if not another decade.
Amazing career. LeBron is in my top 15 greatest of all times.

I just can't see the front office invest into the current group when the ceiling is a second round exit at best. Why would they waste all their assets for a micro chance at winning a chip when waiting for lebron to leave/retire at the end of the season and build a roster around luka makes way more sense. I think luka understands this too.

They can’t just wait until Bron leaves to start making changes. I get this was likely a low risk bridge year with bargain acquisitions like Smart and Ayton but even when Bron is off the books if they are going to pay Austin he’s gonna be eating up a chunk of that available salary, they need to make changes asap.

That game shows our biggest weakness.. perimeter speed to guard drive & Kicks teams…. When we were up 10 and Luka missed 2 FTs he hung his head and pouted the rest of the game after he immediately missed a 3rd&4th straight FTs.. then Bron let go of the rope at Halftime. When the role players saw those 2 with their heads down jogging up & down the court like a pickup game at the park.. it was a scheduled Loss 4me…. They did the same thing both games last year
JJ should have had Bron out when he rolled his ankle down 25…
When Bron & Luka let go of the rope it's so noticable… They hang their head and just jogging .. Bron cannot dribble facing the defense anymore.. he's gotta be backing in from the high post an then some times he still loses it when he dribbles at traffic.. Aytons hands are so bad and Bron threw 2 passes at his feet so those were automatic turnovers. When Luka misses the 4 straight FTs that would have put the Lakers up 14 he hung his head and just walked around an still made shots but wasn't rotating on Defense.When him & Bron where in the game together after the 6 minute mark in the 2nd Qtrs, they just never even tried to rotate to shooters.

Brons faced up dribbling is starting 2get concerning.. the last couple years when he is facing the defender out on the perimeter & tried to go by them it's a turnover about half the time off his foot or the 🏀 just comes loose from his hands..

Rob needs 2get 3 players at least @trade deadline.. there's plenty of cheap players that fit the archetype we need… 1 starting 3(6'6-6'8) that's a HiMotor athletic 3&D Wing/guard POA defender. Then 2 HiMotor athletic 3&D Guard defender that's(6'5-6'7)then1 thats a wing Defender that's
(6'7-6'9). There's plenty of players in that(2.5m-6.5m) range that you could get 3 or 4 guys with Klebers expiring($11.5m)&DK's($4m)the swaps &2nds.Both salaries=
($15.5m)You can get Keon Ellis 4($2.3m)then get 3guys Nthat ($2m-$4.3m)range,that are athletic
HiMotor Roleplayers 4the Bench🔥 then you still have Gabe's expiring($11m)2 use for the starter. Which could b Naji Marshall type price range. Or there's a few lower level guys that mite not be Herb Jones & Wiggins. Unless your giving up Rui+Gabe's($29m ish)+the 1st can get you several of the hi end starting Level 3&D Wing that can guard on the Perimeter when your thinking about Rui being a fit next to Bron that's for the rest of this season an he's probably retiring or going to another team IMOSo Rui would be the starting/bench 4 possibly next season.(Depending on $$) You get the hi level starting 3&D wing @ the 3 +2 or 3 hi motor athletic perimeter guys in that(6'5-6'7) height range that can be POA defenders guarding 1s, 2s, &3s& some 4a if they have 2 but they also need a (6'7-6'9) height range that's a good Wing Defender that can guard 2s,3s,4s &some 5s when needed.
I just love the idiots complaining about Luka. Here is a simple question for you. How many other GMs would love to have a player they can pencil in for roughly a 30+ point triple double essentially every night? The answer: Every single one

@53:17 agreed. i think they would have Jake sit once Austin comes back cause i think Marcus is a better defender than Jake, and we all know Austin won't agree to coming off the bench especially when he was averaging 27 a game, and in a contract year.
