if they could keep Key, LM, Ace, and Walker, it would be dumb not to get Giannis even if they lose the pick this year.
You're not getting Giannis and keeping Lauri, key, Kessler, ace and this year's pick. So the fans prefer not to give up Athena process for a short swing with Giannis.
Screw the pick. The pick assets are there for Giannis and the Bucks.
If Utah makes him feel at home for a year. You have him long term.

Jazz just an organization that doesn’t believe in itself; otherwise, they’d be exploring trading for Giannis.
One year of Giannis is just too big a gamble. Him staying long term is just such a long shot that it really doesn’t make sense to roll those dice. The Jazz gut their roster to get him, trade our best picks, and then he leaves and we start another rebuild but in a really poor spot.
I trust the rebuild process more than an ego driven injury prone forward who can't shoot
