  1. Congratulations and and very happy for Mark Aguirre. Great to see dirk back as he is Dallas and forever mavericks royalty.

  2. he a legend for sure. poor old man thinks dirk still playing lol….no franchise done more in the last ten years ? hmm i guess golden state dont exist lol. how bout drafting the best pg of the 2000s, building a championship team around him, then blowing it up after one half of a year to perpetuate the worst trade in sports history…..? where now he leads the league in points, and the guy you got for him has played like 4 games. *i know its more than 4 * poor old guys probably didnt realize why the ownership group got boo’d….also harper is a terrible sportscaster, hes so dumb and has such a limited vocabulary and stilted speaking cadence….im not saying he a bad dude or anything, but in broadcasting speaking skils and analytical ability matter ….so glad i dont have to watch mavs games anymore since the trade. hopefully luka comes home some day.

  3. How in the hell are Derek Harper and Rolando Blackmon's Jersey's retired before Mark Aquirre? That's bs! DePaul should have a staue of Mark Aquirre in front of Alumni Hall on the corner of Belden & Sheffield! The man should be and should have already been in the basketball HOF! It takes into account your high school, college, and pro career! The man was a Mc Donald's All American in high school, a first team All American as a freshman in college, put DePaul on the National map, the #1 pick in the NBA Draft! Oh, I forgot he led DePaul to the final four as a freshman! 🎤👑 Put some respect on that man's name! Oh, a two-time NBA champion as the missing piece for the " Bad Noy Pistons."

  4. Flagg being the only other no. 1 pick must've been mighty inspiring on this special occasion. Dropping 49 points halfway through his rookie season was amazing. Not even Luka accomplished that feat. A win would've been the icing on the cake.

  5. Long overdue! Unstoppable in the 80s at SF! That team was great to watch hoop! 👊🏽👏🏽🙏🏽

  6. Congratulations Mark.
My first NBA jersy. My first favorite player.
DepauI legend. I am not crying, just chopping onions.

  7. How long has it been, 35, 36 years since he played for Dallas?? And it took them THIS long to retire his jersey?? Always better late than never though..but it's insane to think just how long it took
